Taxes are coming to Patreon (Patreon)

Hi everyone. I've been asked by Patreon to pass along some news to you. It appears the Taxman has caught up to us as some new tax laws are going into effect and some of you, depending on where you live, might find additional tax added to your Patreon pledges.  I am working with Patreon and using some new mechanics put in place to minimize the amount of tax some of you may have to pay. 

I know this sucks. I live in the state of Illinois where I have to pay more tax than anywhere else in the country, so I feel your pain. I hope this will not discourage you from contributing to this amazing community we've built up over the past few years and I want each and every one of you to know that we need and appreciate your donations. I am always looking for new ways to add fresh content to this site, and knowing that some of you might have to extend yourselves just a bit more, I am really motivated to add even more exclusive content to this page.
