Welcome to the first RFR Patreon bonus podcast of 2021! I'm joined by former Chicago radio producer and old friend Steve Swanson who talks about his journey as a Star Wars fan who grew up with the OT, tolerated the PT, got turned off by the ST, and finally  regained his passion via THE MANDALORIAN. Steve talks about coming back into the fold of fandom and how he now shares it with his young son. Plus, plenty of recollections  about working together in Chicago radio in the 90s and attending our first pop culture conventions, the Special Edition & Prequel releases, and hanging out at Rancho Obi-Wan. - Jimmy Mac

First new content since last year, yay! Lol welcome back guys, you’ve been missed

Sean W. from Warsaw

Hey Jimmy, will you be accepting Q and A's now? Or are you gonna still be going through the little RFR invite again that you did at the end of last year? I'm ready for the next Q and A, brother!

Enjoyed the talk on Heir to the Empire and the Zahn novels. I read them years ago and loved them. Interesting hear how they were received when they first came out in the 90's - when very little Star Wars content was available. House projects plus RFR make for a good Saturday morning. Thanks for the solid content!

I completely identified with the comment of having only watched the season 2 Mando finale one time because “it’s like going to church.” 😂. It’s just too good to have on and not be fully engaged.

Steve put Jimmy through his paces with the BLEEP button on this one, haha! Enjoyed listening to y'all catch up.

I hear an "F" bomb slip through.

I’m not surprised. At first, I was going to let one or two fly by, but the mere volume of cursing by my foul mouthed Buddy was a little overwhelming! :)
