When RFR VIP Joe Dallas was a kid STAR WARS Superfan in the late-70s, he puzzled over the question: How do TIE Fighters land? His curiosity eventually inspired him to write a letter to Kenner asking them to provide an answer, which they did! And it's a wacky explanation that you need to hear. Plus, we hear the story about a vintage remote-control Sandcrawler he let slip thru his hands. It's a serious case of consumer regret! Plus, learn about Chancellor Palpatine with the backward head, Joe's experiences attending 13 Star Wars Celebration conventions, stalking Peter Mayhew at Steak n Shake, the melted Luke X-Wing figure and more!

Great job Joe! Your laugh is awesome and shows how much fun you were having. My wife and I were at the two events in Chicago so we probably met. I love that your mom helped you write a letter to Kenner about the Tie fighter. Awesome!

Great Q&A! Love the VHS talk, I was just remembering the other day how much "VHS" was so key to re-watching shows and movies that you loved or enjoyed. My kids have NO CLUE how much time was spent re-recording shows to edit out the commercials with 2 VHS's :D

Coming to this episode very late. My son was born! Anyways, great episode! I really liked how fun this episode was. Just a coupla dudes hangin' and talking about just anything. I feel like I haven't heard a conversation with this much energy and spontaneity in a while. Hope to hear you back soon, Joe!
