Chut Chut guys! Great episode. I guess I've recently become a Star Wars collector now, starting last year. Mainly the Star Wars Legends books, (I got about 90 right now). I've recently had success with getting into contact with authors Karen Traviss, Sean Williams, and John Jackson Miller for autographed book copies, which is my new obsession. And now more recently, collecting classic Star Wars games. So I relate to the slippery slope that collecting can be, if you don't know where to draw the line haha.

I’d suggest looking into art prints of book covers signed by the artists. I’ve bought a few from Dorman. They class up a Star Wars library.

Fantastic show! I love listening to passionate collectors discussing the hobby.

I got all the Resistance figures except Kaz. Says a lot about your show when I won't buy the main character.

Hey hey! Really digging the collecting talk. Like really digging it.

Great show guys! JMac brought up Blue Snaggletooth. I actually have a collecting story on the figure. When I was in college, I bought my wife’s engagement ring and noticed an antique store next door. I decided to go in and see if they had any Star Wars stuff. Sure enough they had a bunch of loose figures in great shape, with all accessories, labeled and in baggies. They were pretty cheap at the time ($5 or less) and as I dug through the box I found a pristine Blue Snaggletooth for $3.50. I could barley contain myself as I picked him up and paid for the rest of the figures. This happened within a month or so of the Star Wars insider doing an article on the figure. Without that article I wouldn’t have known about the figure as I never had it as a kid.

RIP Razor Crest 😞

Last I was at a Five Below they had all but the red and white troopers. Worth checking out for some Solo and Resistance figures.

Talking about collectors that just buy with no connection: boardgamers! Boardgamers are crazy. I love competitive boardgames, and am in some groups, and people have HUNDREDS of games in their collection they have never even opened. Also, Kickstarters for most of the games run well north of $100/game. Luckily I am friends with someone like this, and he buys most games so I don't have to!
