We are always amazed by our talented and skilled audience, and RFR VIP Joe Dallas is a great example of this. Joe is a musician based in the Florida Keys who loves Star Wars. Joe returns to the Q&A to conduct a wide-ranging conversation tackling a variety of topics, including a wacky Top Ten list about Kylo Ren. We talk about everything from the Sarlacc Pit, to 3D movies, to THE BAD BATCH and more. Plus, Joe brought along a cookin' live recording of himself jamming bass on The Cantina Theme with fellow Key West musicians to wrap up the show!

I’m halfway through and I want this episode to get some type of award. Love it.

Jared Cantor

Loved this episode! I hope Joe keeps coming back frequently.

Brad Young

Wow! The Cantina Theme was awesome. Props especially to the drummer.

Aaron Moyer

Left the f-bomb in there lol

Brian Robinson

Love the Late Night theme added to the Top Ten. Hit it Paul!

Jacob Conti

Great Episode! And as a fellow bass player, Joe do you have tabs or charts for this arrangement of the Cantina music? I'd love to give it play through sometime!

JOE DALLAS! What a fun return to the Q&A, man! It's super fun listening to what you bring to the table. I wish I had those kind of improv kind of convo props! I about died when your No. 1 was revealed on the top 10 list. Lol Anyways, hope you keep coming back! And hopefully you and Jimmy get to hang one day. Maybe Jimmy and showcase you on the main show doing to full Star Wars themed hangout at the club or something...? Eh? EH?! Lol

Sean W. from Warsaw

Tip for the show: Give spoiler alerts, man! I was priding myself on staying away from all things Bad Batch-related and then boom! Lol Ah well. Life goes on.

Joe Dallas

No... the horn player had the melody and we just had the basic chord changes... no real chart - just improve.... but I’d be happy to walk you through it.

Joe Dallas

That brought back soooo many memories and combining Star Wars with Letterman! Lol! Great production Jimmy Mac! That went exactly how I had hoped!

Joe Dallas

I hear ya - but that was all speculation- we hadn’t seen it yet!! This was recorded a week before! Sorry though....

Jacob Conti

No worries, I'll play around with it and let you know if I get too stuck! Appreciate you sharing that with us all, it was way cool!! :)

Sean W. from Warsaw

The spoiler was that there was a kid in it who looked suspiciously like Palpatine named Omega. I didn't even know that, that's how spoiler free I was! It's all good, though! :D

Aaron Moyer

If you’re planning on staying that free of spoilers, you should probably stay away from every Star Wars website, forum, podcast, and page

Eric from Phoenix

Great job Joe! I love the playing with toys and blocks discussion. That was exactly what my brother and I did with our Star Wars figures. So much fun! Loved the music at the end too!

Eric from Phoenix

Oh, it’s crazy how we both specifically brought up the troop transport. Was a very cool vehicle and I had it safely sliding down the sides of couches too :)

Sean W. from Warsaw

Nah. I always just skip over whenever they start talking about the things I'm trying to avoid. That list is usually quite small, and thus easily avoided. I usually have pretty strong track record. This was an anomaly. Again, no biggie!

Federico

Great episode! the music at the end was fantastic! great set of musicians! you can feel the "love for the ´wars" in your bass right there!

Patrick Palen

The best part of my week is when we get the rare F-bomb from JMac 😂

Blue

So THAT is what Joe Dallas looks like. With that insane laugh of his I pictured a head of hair akin to Dr Emmett Brown. You make the conversation a ton of fun, my friend.

Jeff Holland

Finally got around to listening to this Q&A. Really funny/entertaining episode. I think Joe Dallas is quickly becoming my favorite RFR VIP. Loved the Top 10 list (#1 - 😂 😂 😂).
