The Kane County Toy Fair recently happened and The Babu Freaks were there! Billy Mac and Cristian Macht were with us and they're sitting in on this show as honorary Freaks for a full report. There was a ton of Star Wars merch all over the place. Hear about what we scored and what we did, including hanging out in Macht's newly-christened "Wampa Cave". ("Christened" not Cristian) We share our quick reviews of THE BAD BATCH. Plus, we also visited a Star Wars sale at a warehouse, went to a White Sox game, and a movie theater with rock concert-quality sound.

The Freaks AND Billy AND Macht? The interwebs can’t handle this much awesomeness.

An RFR get together at Ranco Obi Wan would be amazing!

As a collector of both Black Series and Vintage (plus older stuff) I think Hasbro’s decisions come down to social media hype. Social media is where new converts to one scale or the other are made, and for whatever reason, my fellow fans of 3 3/4 scale don’t photograph and share as much. For example there’s a Reddit group with 11k members devoted to Black Series collecting. The Vintage Collection group has around 400 members. So if we want to save the scale, we need more people to post their dioramas :-)

Always love it when the Freaks get together. We really have to have a meet-up at the Ghost or somewhere this summer!!

Great show. Small toy shows are opening here in the UK I’m but can’t wait for the big ones to return.

Let’s make a deal sometime! I gotta get a better idea of my inventory first!
