Film producer F.J. DeSanto joins us to discuss the manner in which franchise movies are produced, the influence of nerd culture in Hollywood, THE BAD BATCH and the rumors we recently reported about the making of THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. As always, F.J. shoots from the hip and tells it like it is without any filter (You’ve been warned). Ewan McGregor talks more about his wardrobe for the upcoming OBI-WAN KENOBI series and we discuss. Plus, we listen to some hilarious George Lucas stories from Seth Rogen and Conan O’Brien, and Patton Oswalt weighs in with his thoughts on THE MANDALORIAN.

Fucking love listening to FJ shoot the shit w/ the Guys! (Had to throw in some curse words in honor of FJ.) Ha! Swank’s analogy game is on 🔥 this ep! FJ = Ralphie’s father; Luke watching sand people = cow tipping. Almost did a laugh spit take in my car when I heard the Ralphie’s father joke! Funny episode guys!

What a AWESOME show this week. Beginning of the show had me dying laughing with all the GL stories. And F.J is the homie. I love hearing that man. I’m not into a ton of swearing but man when he’s going I don’t even care lol. Love the die hard truth he speaks! Also that talk about why the Jedi wear their simple robes blew my mind. It’s almost Biblical. Like how Christ and his apostles had basically nothing as far as possessions go. That’s me reading it with my background and beliefs but man only on RFR would I get this kind of discussion.

Great show guys. Loved FG’s insights. He has such a unique take and understanding of the business. Only question, how did he not pass out from never taking a breath or not take a drink? Lol. The cussing isn’t my favorite but I could get past it.

Wow - Going back and listening to this interview, FJ's "Profit or Looser" section (2:00:00) is really on point with so many things we got in Book of Boba. When talking about "what comes next with Mando" he talks about us getting baby Yoda back and the explaining about what the name "Grogu" means. He says we'd see Luke again and even go to his school, he talked about something that would bring Grogu and Mando back together and that Grogu would have to make the decision that he's a Mandalorian and not a Jedi - Really curious to see how the rest of his "gut" predictions play out! Great interview all around! Can't wait for you to have him on again.
