Starting with Boba and Jango, The Mandalorians have had their history told in a variety of mediums: TV, film, comic Books and video games. Now today we have THE MANDALORIAN on Disney+ and the upcoming BOOK OF BOBA FETT plowing the way forward with all kinds of new details on this history. How about we go back and read the "Jango Fett: Open Seasons" comic series from 2002 (only four issues), and discuss the past, present and future of the ever-changing world of the Mandalorians? RFR VIP Matthew Rooney joins Jimmy Mac to talk all about it!

Looking forward to listening! Been really enjoying the War of the Bounty Hunters crossover series, the preludes were good and that first issue had a fun reveal at the end. Definitely liking the Boba stuff lately.

I’m team-Almec when it comes to Jango and his Mando armor. I like the idea that Jango was enough of a badass to wear the armor with a IDGAF attitude. Maybe he earned it in battle, against, or in support of, some Mandos. Lots of opportunities to develop this canon.

Epic convo! One of the biggest crimes in Star Wars gaming is the lack of a second Bounty Hunter where you play as Boba, but that’ll probably change one day. Despite having several Star Wars roles, Clancy Brown will always be Montross to me. Truly a character worthy of the Kurgan. Komari Vosa and the Bando Gora are legit creepy, I suppose in keeping with the more violent tone of the comics of that era. I think Indiana Jones provides a couple good archaeology slogans—the funniest is probably “X never marks the spot.”

My boys still talk about the GameCube Bounty Hunter game. George ruined our second chance when he kept messing with Boba game called 1313. It ended up getting cancelled.
