Can’t wait to listen. I have a love/hate with this novel. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Ben Berke-Halperin

You’re right, Jimmy. Dooku says to obi wan on Geonosis that he was Qui Gon’s master

David Fieldsend

Love the topic, love that novel, and I agree with Mike in his points when he said it feels like Plagueis is written after all nine saga movies it blends in so well, and with him saying he still feels its relevance in the Bad Batch, with how the cloning is still relevant and an integral background plot. Good show!

Nathan Wenzel

Love this book! Great convo. Episode 2 while Obi-wan is being held hostage

Sean W. from Warsaw

Been so long since I've read this, but it always left a lasting impression with the creepy experiments, Force cloning, and so forth. One of the most intriguing ideas for all Star Wars, and still as relevant to storytelling. Can't wait to listen !

James johnson

Plagueis is to TPM as Rouge One is to ANH

Diana Orr

Love this book and would love to see this in live action. Going have to give it another re-read.

Blake Weaver

Great conversation guys. I’ve never read that novel but this discussions just pushed me to read it after I’m done with my current SW novel.

Paul Chrestman Jr.

I was on the fence but now I’m going to read this. Downloaded it today. Great discussion.

Jared Cantor

Great discussion! I have never read the novel because it came out during a period when I had stopped reading SW novels and I've always meant to go back and read it. I am not thrilled with any of the current High Republic publishing, so maybe now is that time...

Matt Marks

Man, this makes me want to go back and read (or listen to) this book again. Might be my favorite Star Wars book.

Eric from Phoenix

Great job Mike! I love how this book still works even with Rise of Skywalk. Someday I need to read this book.

David N Shearer

Great show Mike and Jimmy Mac! I first read Plagueis because of the RFR crew round table from way back. Now this has prompted a reread and I’m enjoying how it is pointing toward the Rise of Skywalker with all the focus on prolonging life through “unnatural” means.

Rob Stewart

Awesome show Mike! I paused listening to it initially to finish the audiobook so it was fresh. Adds a richness to the prequels. Catalyst up next?

Mike Aragon

So I just finished Catalyst and Rogue One on Audible :) I'll pitch it to Jimmy and see when he wants to do another round.

Rob Stewart

I just started Catalyst myself based on the Q&A - that would be awesome if Jimmy is up for it.

Sean W. from Warsaw

So I kept putting this episode off too long and eventually forgot about it for the longest time before finally listening to it today! What a great episode! Man, I had an epiphany about what Palpatine says about Plagueis in ROTS, when he says "he could even influence the midi-chlorians to create life." That sounds an awful lot like creating a new life form, like a bioengineered being--something like Snoke. I always have gotten the impression Snoke is something literally unique; the only being of his kind outside of the other clones of himself. Quite intriguing if true. And would go a long way towards enriching the Plagueis and Sidious quest towards their ends. Great stuff!
