Did anyone catch this tribute to the original Tom Jung #StarWars poster art from 1977 in #StarWarsVisions? It's from the first episode "The Duel"

So awesome! I just finished all 9 episodes and I’m in love with this. Yes I’m already a anime fan but I think any Star Wars nerd like us all will have enough in this to at the very least appreciate it for what it is. The Japanese are so amazing with their storytelling in anime and manga and I’d love more Star Wars stories in this form from them.

I love the Hildebrandt Bros.' iconic poster.......I love many, many other Original ANH release posters (& promotional ads). BUT, the Tom Jung ANH poster, for me, .......is THE.....SW ANH poster. It just captures that excitement of a promised adventure that is still to be revealed (w/ all the mystery, the "what is that", the first blush of something you just sense is going to be magical).....it's pure Cinema Magic that only poster art can communicate. It also, was the inspiration for everything else that followed (in some way or other).

Was the building with the poster not also similar to the classic Chinese Theater where SW movies traditionally premiere?
