Mike James

Will be listening to this on my work break 😁

Jeff Holland

Always look forward to a Joe Dallas Q&A!

Peter Beisser

I always dig when the convo goes beyond discussing the minutia of the saga to how it really changed us. Life wouldn't be the same without the holy trilogy as a kid--beyond just enjoying watching the flicks. Great idea for an episode, Joe.

Sean W. from Warsaw

This sounds like a really deep episode. Applicability is a beautiful thing!

Brian Robinson

This episode is great, So much fun! GenX here, I'm getting all the deep references. Battle of the Planets was a rebranded Japanese show called Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. I loved watching it on Saturday mornings and I watched Space Giants after school on TBS.

Blake Weaver

Loved it! Happy Joe is representing us Florida fans! Super fun episode to listen to.

Antonio from NJ

Ive said it once and I'll say it every time... JOE F*CKING DALLAS!

ANDREW KNUDSON

Love listening to the Joe Dallas episodes! Joe you sound like a dude that would be fun to hang with! Mtfbwy

Antonio from NJ

Joe I could have misheard you but did you say Visions was a miss? Or myths? hah considering you seem to really like it.. I think working in my dad's machine shop destroyed my hearing. Also jMac and Joe doing the Obi One exchange had me laughing. Go to the anime system. Brilliant Jimmy!

Commander Bly

HAHA! Great convo, guys! This was a lot of fun! Thank you!

Roger Tavernier

I heard myths too...lol...Sounds like your dad was a great guy...

Antonio from NJ

So friggin cool! and great life lessons on this one. You've got a great outlook on life man. Cant wait to meet all of you guys one day! I've never been to a meetup/celebration/con ever in my life, but I am definitely down to meet any of you for a round over the wars :D

Hey Jimmy and Joe, Anakin said the orange goo line. "Your friend was about to be turned into orange goo. He picked a fight with a dug, an especially dangerous dug called Sebulba."

Eric from Phoenix

AM great internet search :). You all need to go to ICCC con in Nashville, TN. My wife and I are in and we’d love to see all of you. I believe JMac and Jason are going to be there. 10% off, come on get your tickets!

Eric from Phoenix

Oh my gosh, so much fun to listen to you Joe and Jimmy. Gosh I laughed a lot. I have a huge list of notes but I’ll just condense it down to a few things. Jet pack at Celebration 4 - so unbelievably loud. I think my ears still hurt. We were at Celebration 1, so much fun and nothing like the current Celebrations. Anthony Daniels was amazing! JMac, your Twiggy voice was spot on. Did I hear JImmy say Sandperson? I think I did :) Top 10 list was perfect and I’m all in for VIP hangout in Swanks room at Celebration. Great job guys!

Joe Dallas

I can’t wait to meet you! Think of all the lines we were probably in together and never met! Lol!!

Eric from Phoenix

Ha, so true! We met Steve Glosan while we were in line at Celebration 3 in 2005. Crazy when I heard him on RFR in 2015 or 2016 and I recognized him when I saw his picture.

Jared Cantor

I love how each conversation with a VIP is always so unique.

Jeff Holland

Finally got around to listening this one. Great episode! Interesting Top 10 list. Ha! Also, I knew I wasn’t the only RFR listener who carried on conversations (in our own head or out loud talking to ourselves) when listening to Jason & JMac. I do it all the time.

Man, so I'm coming late to this episode. Listening to it now, but I had to stop and give a story inspired by your Number 10. When I was around 15, The Phantom Menace came out, and that was the year I started really wanting to get into soundtracks or film scores because of that film's score by John Williams. And I saw the soundtrack available at our nearest K-Mart. Lol Well, I didn't have a job at the time, but I REALLY wanted that soundtrack, so I asked my dad if he could get it for me. He said I could so long as I got all A's on my report card for that semester. Man, I busted my butt that semester especially, and sure enough got all A's--and the soundtrack was soon enough mine as the sweet reward! (Incidentally, I actually even kept up my performance in high school, with that year being rewarded with like a 4.3 GPA!) Some 21 years later, I still proudly have that same soundtrack. The jewel case is a little busted up, but otherwise it's still one of my most treasured items ever, and easily one of my most listened to scores ever. Ever since that year, I've steadily collected more and more film scores, being an especially big John Williams fan ever since, but growing into a major classical music guy, too. Beethoven became a major hero of mine, in fact. And I have Star Wars in large part to thank for bringing me to all of this. Good Number 10, Dallas!

Sean W. from Warsaw

Oh man, I feel like such a slacker: You guys did a little shout out to me at the end of the episode--and I'm only just now hearing this.... Oi. Life, though. 9 month old has kept me busy! But thanks so much for the kind words, you guys. Always deeply appreciated. And yes, I like to stick to my themes! :)

Sean W. from Warsaw

Hey, so Jimmy mentioned I had an episode scheduled. I don't recall this! My last episode was October 1st, and this episode of yours came out the 25th. Did you guys record this before the beginning of the month or did I miss something...? The most recent VIP invite for the Q&A's was recently, so I want to make sure I hold to the schedule--especially if I'm not aware I'm on it!

Joe Dallas

Hey Sean- that’s awesome that you got all A’s and kept it up! Me too - lol - lots of deals were made with my parents regarding A’s! My episode was aired like three weeks later so some references were off a little. I’m glad Jimmy waited- I had a nice zone when he released mine!
