Jedi Yogi John Marcoux returns to provide his analysis of seasons one and two of THE MANDALORAIN. John digs deep into the history of mythology and literature to reveal the storytelling foundations of the popular Disney+ series. From the poetry of Homer to the lyrics of Bob Marley, John’s STAR WARS hot takes are always eye-opening and interesting. Princess Leia - Pilot or not? We look at the evidence. Ming Na Wen discussed Fennic Shand in a recent interview and we got the highlights. Plus, Star Wars In Pop Culture features GRACE AND FRANKIE and Ron Howard.

Oh man!!! First time commuting back into NYC tomorrow and I know what I'll be listening to!

Pistol Pete

My favorite podcast about my favorite franchise spoke about my favorite show today 😎 Smallville. Thanks boys!

theVillaCachers

"Anyone who has to wear a helmet every moment of his existence is not free". Well said. #HelmetMandate

theVillaCachers

Saw what you did there. lol. Smallville was a fun ride. Wish he dawned the cape a season earlier. It was strange that Dooms Day came before Superman's big debut. But its a different universe now I guess.

Jared Cantor

Exactly what I need in my life these days! Can't wait to listen

Love the Queen of England clarification because she is such a badass! Come on Jason you gotta give her the love 🤣🤣 Hah JMac shutting down Jason's can-o-worm, love it hah. edit - Apologies, this comment was not meant to start sh!t... It is star wars...it is fictional and we are here to have fun. Moving on!

Peter Beisser

Marcoux is indeed a Jedi yogi! Wonderful insight.

Diana Orr

Norm MacDonald didn’t drive, Leia didn’t fly.

Brian Robinson

Come on Jimmy, Rey went from riding a sled down a sand dune to flying the Millennium Falcon, it can't be that hard! lol

Diana Orr

John blew my mind with the Lone Survivor analogy.

theVillaCachers

Yes, apparently if you take apart things as a job then you know how everything works; flying the falcon, bypassing the compressor, one-upping a Sith, and figuring out the force on your own.

Jeff Holland

I too have watched Grace and Frankie with my wife. I feel your pain, Edward.

theVillaCachers

@ A M you were respectful, had an opinion or thought, and shared it. Merica! --err England. 😆

Eric from Phoenix

Great show guys. I’ve always liked John’s perspective but I think this breakdown was my favorite. The heartbeat and drums discussion blew my mind.

Matt Lambert

Great show! Love the Mando mythology parts... had me thinking back to English Lit from Grade 12... BTW there actually is a story in "a different point of view" book about pilots at battle of Yavin 4... there actually wasn't enough fighters to go around and some pilots got grounded... there is a story about one of these pilots, name escaping me, about how he was pissed off about not getting to fly against the death star... I think Wedge took his place and at that time Wedge was fairly new to the rebellion, so dude was pissed he took his spot

Yogi John is a legend! Have to agree with you Eric … this was my fav analysis to date. Great episode!
