UPDATED WITH MORE PIX!

Kirk here from RFR Q&A #24! I heard Jimmy mention collection photos in the newest Matt Rashid episode. At the end of this past August I purchased my first home, so I finally can display my collection. It’s of course a work in progress. I’m hoping to light up those bat cases with some led lights and pick up more POTF2 figures (I have them in order of appearance in the films), I’m waiting on IKEA to restock on the Detolf shelfs and then I’m going to hang my Falcon from the ceiling.

The Collector Spotlight is open to ALL RFR Patreon supporters! If you'd like your collection featured, send pix and text to show@rebelforceradio.com

Bonus points for the Hendrix photo on the Marshall!!

Peter Beisser

A great SW, Batman, and Jimi mashup. Respect 🤜

Kirk Leppert

Haha thanks! It’s kinda random right now since I’m waiting on the Detolf shelfs. 🤛

Oh man! I'm a huge Michael Keaton Batman guy, so I am blown away to see those figures and everything! I've been thinking seriously about getting my hands on some of those old figures I had as a kid. I came to SW kinda late (mid to late 90s) but the 89 Batman and it's sequel were my jam as a kid born in 84. (So excited to see Keaton's return in the upcoming Flash movie!) So those figures are super nostalgic for me. Thanks for sharing, man!

Brooks P

Great collection.

Kirk Leppert

Man, exact same! I was born in 84 and didn’t become a Wars fan until the Special Editions (why I love the POTF2 line). Keaton Batman was my first love. I even have a cat named Keaton! I’m all about the Kenner Dark Knight and Batman Returns line (and the 89’ Toy Biz stuff, too). I think I’m going to cry during the Flash movie. I just hope it’s a liittle bit of bigger part than a cameo.

Sean W. from Warsaw

Anything less than a featured role would be unthinkable! Lol But yes, so stoked! I actually got pretty emotional, legit emotional, when I got the news. That's my original hero, essentially. It's so cool to see someone share this same passion, born the same year, got into SW the same time with the Special Editions, etc. :D Btw, were you big into Shadows of the Empire, too? Used to love those figures!

Kirk Leppert

Absolutely! Yes, big into SOTE. I loved the N64 game and that was all during the same time getting into the Wars. Are you in Poland? If you ever find yourself in Richmond, VA, we’ll have to grab a beer! Chut Chut!

Sean W. from Warsaw

Thanks mate! I appreciate it. I am not in Warsaw, Poland, but Indiana. Lol Sounds so dull.... Anyways, thanks for everything! This is one of the coolest collections I've seen. :)

Kirk Leppert

You’re not too far from Chicago. Maybe we’ll meet at an RFR meetup someday. Happy Holidays, MTFBWY, and “I’m Batman”.

Sean W. from Warsaw

Also, can somebody tell me what kind of a world we live in where a man dressed up as a bat steals all of my press...? Lol

Sean W. from Warsaw

Yes! That should be the headline for your collector spotlight. Man, this movie is so quotable. So many good lines. I used to live with a guy who would find ways to regularly incorporate lines from the film into Just every day conversation. I got hooked on trying to find ways to do it, myself. Beautiful.

David Hammons

Let’s see the guitars that go with that Marshall!!! I like seeing guitars as much as Star Wars collections

Kirk Leppert

Thanks! IKEA Kallax. I’ve outgrown a couple over the years and now I have the 5x5 model. I actually put it together in the living room and couldn’t get it to fit in my Toy Room because of the way the hallway is. That was a frustrating night!

Kirk Leppert

Haha same here! My main axe’s are a 2011 Les Paul that “I’ve made a lot of special modifications to myself” to and 2006 Telecaster 72” reissue.

Eric from Phoenix

Great collection and I love the pegboard. I have all of those bendums figures too. That's all there was prior to the Kenner / Hasbro re-launch in the mid 90's.

Jeff Rysinski

Cool collection Kirk. As Eric did I noticed the Bend Ems, don't see them very often in collections, I also have a few.

Jeff Rysinski

It was exciting that there were finally some new figures. But looking at them now ...yikes! That just shows how desperate we were for something new.
