Looking back at our year of podcasts, what would you consider to be a top ten moment on the show? Could be big, like a full interview, or small, like a single quote. Let’s have a little dialog about it! Submit your favorite moments from 2021 or even your own personal top ten list. Patreon-exclusive podcasts are also eligible. Discuss and debate in the comments section below! We will compile a solid list and talk about it when RFR returns in 2022.

My felt needs to be felt is my most recent favorite memory

Hunter Chambers

Any time Steve Glosson and Billy Mac are on the show is always a top 10 moment. Specifically this year, reminiscing about Steve’s beautiful “Mandalore Reign”, and of course Let’s Misbehave with Puppet Lando and the glorious debut of “I Want My Felt to be Felt”.

Ben Roloff

“I Want My Felt to be Felt” for sure. Selfishly, pulling back the curtain on the RFR show intro was a lot of fun after hearing it so many times after so many years. And any George Lucas imitation!

Jeffrey Van Dyke

Bad Batch after show. "Dad! Taun We's dead!" Jimmy gets mad when Jason does it. Then Jimmy does it too. And Is that you brother? (brother brother brother brother)

Diana Orr

When Jimmy and Jason sang “Shot in the back and your to blame, you give Clones a bad name”. Hysterical moment and a testimony to your chemistry.

Andy

Gonna go out on a limb and say episode 1 of Book of Boba Fett Aftershow.

Matrograde

It's hard for me to think of specific things, but pretty much the winners for me are: extended George Lucas impressions, Billy Mac as a guest, FJ as a guest, and Big Honkin' Steve as a guest. Also, Joe Dallas making a game out of opening wax packs on the show was brilliant.

Steve Gilmore

All the puppet Lando and deep fake George Lucas. I think that was this year..I’ve listened to so many RFR pods this year I just assume they’re all 2021.

Rob Strecker

Too many to count, too tough to say, other than "I want my felt to be felt". That made me laugh.

Blake Weaver

The Bad Batch after shows I loved. The fact a dope like me could call in and talk to you guys means the world to us fans. I got perspectives on something im still not fully sold on that I would have never got thanks to our community. My interview of the year was Richard Cheese though. Only RFR would bring me such left field gold. Since that show me and my wife are fans of the guy. Never heard of him before that. Can’t wait to see what 2022 brings RFR.

Peter J Watson

Every time Jimmy Mac does Qui Jon & calls Swank "a little bastard" 🤣

Eric from Phoenix

You just made my day, maybe my year. Thanks Tyler! Looking forward to talking to you next week even if I don’t have any thing for J and J.

Peter Beisser

The grown up in me says the amazing “what if” Devon Michael interview. But the 11-year old inside me is leaning toward George Lucas himself “creating” the sound effect for the eopie passing gas. Out loud laughing on that one. Also: having a beer with Eric from Phoenix when he was here in Philly and chatting with everyone on all the live shows. A great year for RFR fans.

Alex W.

I usually don't laugh out loud at shows/radio/comedy etc even when it's hilarious, but the Galactic Starcruiser episode had me DYING. Especially the bit about how they try to do these headscratching retcons with new characters. "The [generic captain they invented for the hotel] was actually underwater in the dianoga tank on the death star!!"

Brian Koehler

So many great moments this year. Puppet Lando, impressions of Liam Neeson, Tom Kane tribute, and I always laugh every time Jimmy mentions his dad saying "you kids realize this could never happen, right?" 😂

Love Matt Rashid calling Jimmy Mac old when he was trying to find his book on Patreon Q&A A Very Rashid Christmas - laughing out loud on Christmas Eve! I totally relate!

#1 All Time Top Ten 🔴 Puppet Lando reading The RFR 2021 Top Ten List * as Swank uncontrollably laughs

Sean W. from Warsaw

I can only think of a few off the top of my head, but definitely the two Puppet Lando episodes of the recent song and the album review. Qui-gon impersonations are up there. I'll keep thinking!

Alex W.

OH! And the most recent full episode of the main show: Swank forgets the "my good friend and yours" cue for the first time ever. I've been listening since nearly the beginning and I'm always impressed at how he makes it work, but not this time for some reason!! Must've been the eggnog

AB ORourke

Top five worst sound effects. Deffo number one

Antonio from NJ

bad batch live shows were a highlight. Babu freaks had me laughing my ass off every time. It's like RFR: Late Night. I wish this was weekly. Q&As this year were crazy fun too. Joe F***ing Dallas is an absolute gem but so are all the others like Sean W, #Rasheads, EfPH, etc. But really it's the comments secrion after the show that is a lot of fun! Always good discussions. Some specific moments: * Puppet Landos My felt needs to be felt and LP commentary * Mando mythos breakdown w the Jedi yogi * Richard Cheese creating the Yoda questionnaire theme on the fly. * Barry the trainspotting freak * Brian's quiet return as a long-haired, ripped star wars stud * Tyler dumping dead bodies and book ahelves in alleys when he moves * Jason's son's Kylo Ren -like review of the star wars hotel. * Big honking Steve's RFR musical highlights * Mike Quinn's interview * The rumor changes to episode 9 discussion * The way RFR and generally the community (especially Patreon) handled the Gina Carano stuff. * And most importantly, the harolds of the greatest star wars greeting ever... Chut, chut! Chut, chut and a hey, hey to the best group of fans I've had the privilege of bsong with :D

Every damned second of it !!

Matt Rashid

“I want my felt…” really had me laughing. I had to stop what I was doing. Jimmy describing his frustrations with role playing 24/7 at the Star Cruiser when all he wants is some ice.. Any time Jason does Kathy Kennedy… 2022, I’ll keep a tab. You guys have me going all year round but my brain doesn’t reach any further back then two days, a week tops… Thanks for all the joy you bring us and thanks to this Patreon group for only making it better. I wish you all a heartfelt Christmas/Holiday/blessing and Happy New Year!

theVillaCachers

I first listened to Steve on Geek Out Loud and then found RFR thru him. Took me a bit to become a Patreon member but better late than never. When you put 3 pod cast legends together you get MAGIC!

Eric from Phoenix

This was hard to do as I can barely remember what I did yesterday. However, I used the month search and that helped me remember stuff from earlier in the year. Here's my list: 10) Mando Commentaries, 9) Eric Walker - Ewok Adventure, 8) Devan Michael, 7) Jimmy as Qui Gon / Liam / Swedish Chef, 6) Steve Glossen, 5) Paul Bateman, 4) Let's Misbehave with Puppet Lando, 3) Bad Batch after-shows > Great discussion on camera and in the chat, 2) RFR Q & As > all are so different, one of the highlights was Joe Dallas How do Tie Fighters land? and 1) Meeting Peter Beisser and his lovely wife when I traveled to Philly for a work trip. Two great people that I would've never met and gotten to share a beer with if it weren't for RFR Patreon! So much great and fun content in 2021. Can't wait for BOBF after show this week!

Eric from Phoenix

I still can't believe Joe actually opened those packs :) I just found 4 Jedi wax packs I had bought years ago and they won't be opened :)

Joe Dallas

Thanks Eric- you are such a positive force for this group. It’s always good if Eric from Phoenix gets through on a live show or leaves you a comment! Which he always does for everyone!

ThePhantom

Joe Dallas' Top 10 was hysterically funny... and definitely relatable... Underrated: Jason's Randy Newman impression.

Jeff Holland

Hope I’m not too late for this. But my Top RFR moments in 2021 (in no particular order) is: FJ’s cuss word bonanza VIP Q&A taking off Babu Freaks “Chut chut” catching on Luke at end of season 2 on Mandalorian Finding out Maggie Simpson was in Jedi (radio drama) Jason and JMac kicking butt at putting out A TON content in 2021!
