Obi-Wan Kenobi | Teaser Trailer | Disney+

Watch the new teaser trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, and start streaming the limited series May 25 on Disney+. The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold

Can’t wait!!! Thanks for the impromptu live after show. Time to practice my “kora… ratama…”

David Fieldsend

I just watched the trailer at work, and it literally brought tears to my eyes, not crying or anything, but enough that i went to the bathroom to wash my face. I feel like i would if my home team were in the superbowl, im SO excited but also SO anxious. The trailer looks pretty damn good though

Peter Beisser

Probably gonna miss out on the fun tonight. But holy heck, this is something we should all be on board with!

Valentin

Duel Of The Fates...they aimed for the heart :D

Jeff A Fiegenschuh

OMG that looks amazing. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts

Luke

Anyone else briefly think the first shot of the Inquisitor was Vader? Just for a slight moment. The pale skin

RobO from ChicagO

YIPPPEEEEEEEE. For real though that trailer brought warm feelings to my heart.

Brian Robinson

A boyhood Luke, in this show? Why did this not occur to me until now?

Antonio from NJ

it looks so gooood! cant wait for the live show! some callouts: * We've got the Grand Inquisitor! Will we see Jeremy Irons?! The voice over sure sounded like him! * And the 5th brother! wonder if we will see the 7th/9th sister too? There are at lest two others we see. Do we think we could potentially see Ahsoka in the series? I can see a brief meeting between them. There has to be something these two can say about Vader hah.

Jeff Holland

This trailer is sooooo WIZARD!

Per Entertainment Weekly and StarWars.com, Rupert Friend is playing the Grand Inquisitor. At my 1st viewing, I thought that was Palps doing the voice over but it looks like it's R. Friend. Moses Ingram is playing Vera, the 3rd sister. And I believe Simone Kessell is playing the other sister. You're right - definitely saw 3 inquisitors.

Joe Dallas

This is going to be great!

Martin Lampen

Looks great. So good to have Ewan backS

Luke Spring

Let’s go! What a trailer!

BenR

So the back of the Trooper we see at 1:09 is a Clone Trooper and not a Stormtrooper. This must be a flashback shot from the Clone Wars. Cool!

BenR

Anyone recognize the droid at 1:08? Looks similar to ZO-E3, the droid from the Vader Immortal video game.

BenR

This trailer makes me think we’ll be given new perspective as to why Uncle Owen didn’t want Luke around Kenobi or the Jedi ways, if he witnesses first hand Inquisitors and the purge

Dr Jz

I simply can’t wait. What a time to be alive!
