Couple things after rewatching the episode. Had to be intentional when Leia asked Obi, “Will I ever see you again?” Very Anakin to his mother scene. And Vader and Obi-Wan have a total Batman and Joker dynamic going, makes me recall when Joker told Batman in The Dark Knight, “I think you and I are destined to do this forever.” So much more to unpack! I had also read online that Askoa damaged Vaders right side of helmet and Obiwan his left, but Luke was the only one to ever “remove” his helmet when he redeemed him. *EDIT* I’m just getting to the aftershow and I see you bring up most of these lol

Great show guys. Personally the show didn’t mesh with me. I loved the acting but the writing was terrible until the final episode. Reva sucked the life out of the show for me. The fact she knows Vaders identity and Kenobi is protecting a child and she’s alive SOMEHOW is stupid as hell and I’ll never overlook it. But I loved how the show ended and it could lead into something special with Kenobi and Qui gon.

You are insane to say the writing was terrible. I have seen every Star Wars film and the dialogue in Kenobi is easily superior to almost every film.

I loved the series overall. Yeah it wasn’t perfect with the mentioned plot holes but the good outweighs the bad and I’m happier with it in my life than without. Reva is a great and interesting character even if, personally, I felt she was a little shoe horned in. Bring on season 2!!!!
