In October 2002, Attack of the Clones returned to IMAX theaters exclusively with a rarely seen 2 hour edit of the film. Jimmy Mac is joined by RFR V.I.P. Mike Aragon to recap all the major edits made to Episode II for this limited engagement. We also talk about what worked and what didn't in OBI-WAN KENOBI, Star Wars collecting, vintage Star Wars Marvel comics, The Prequels and more.

25 min into this. This is great discussion 👍 but just to add, I've listened to RFR awhile and since joining Patreon, I do see a little more of the critical side of Jimmy Mac. on Q&A. And I like it 👍. I'm a big believer in JESW. But also enjoy being critical with like minded fans. Keep up the great discussion/work!!

Great discussion guys. I’ve always loved behind the scenes information on how they make movies / tv shows. I thoroughly enjoyed Kyle’s nerdy film stuff even though I didn’t fully understand it. Unfortunately, there was no IMax anywhere close to where I lived when AOTC came out so I never got to see it. I liked hearing about all the changes. Wasn’t Anakin’s mechanical hand added to the IMax version or was that just for the digital theaters? I’ve always thought the Speeder chase looked and still looks amazing from AOTC. Phenomenal digital magic and looks great on the big screen even though it’s 20 years old. Also, glad I’m not the only one who forgets names from time to time :)

Good episode! Loved the variety of topics (love the Q&A's that deal with solely on one topic as much as I love the Q&A's with a whole bunch of topics). I remember taking a day off from work just to see AOTC in IMAX (not sure why I didn't just go see it on a weekend). But anyways, the theater accidentally played that IMAX Space Station movie (narrated by Tom Cruise) instead of AOTC. About 15-20 min, a theater rep came out and said they couldn't stop the Space Station movie, so we could stay and watch it (for free) and they would show AOTC afterwards. 2 for 1! Also, highly recommend the IMAX theater at the Virginia Air & Space Center in Hampton, VA. Biggest damn screen I've ever seen! The seating is very steep and the screen covers your entire field of vision. Only place I go to see IMAX movies. Like JMac, I can't remember for the life of me which scenes were cut for the IMAX edit. And I still have my IMAX AOTC Yoda poster...somewhere in my collection.

Just catching up guys. This was a SUPER episode! Agree with Jeff ^^^ the range of topics was pretty perfect. I was out walking my dog the whole time … we stayed out longer the episode was that good! Keep up the great work! MTFBWY
