Sweet! We met Gary at Salt Lake Fan X several years ago and he had great stories. I also got him to sign a Krennic sketch I bought from an artist. He loved the sketch!

Is it possible that LF found out about the Icons doc and released the ILM doc at the same time? Hah yeah I'm over thinking it

After digesting Marcia Lucas' take on events, I gotta say I'm kinda disappointed with GL. As a kid of an 80s divorce, I know it's never pretty. But for a man whose magnus opus was ultimately about redemption, reconciliation, and forgiveness, it sounds like the guy showed quite the opposite. But I'll forgive him. Just sad stuff.

I hear you Pete and sorry you had to go thru that, man. This was definitely the hardest segment to listen to - sad all around. And on the flip side if the affair is true....I can't help but understand the bitterness and distancing. To be a bit real, this is something my family is going thru with my sister and her now ex husband. While I wish I had the understanding and compassion of Yoda, I feel absolutely disgust/hate for someone that was once my brother. And I'll never forgive him, because while the divorce was bad - his betrayal of my sister and their kids will stay with them their whole lives. Overall sad stuff :(

Bringing the mood backup - who has a guess on what line from RO Whitta hates? I think it's the choke on your ambition line Vader delivers.

I have to say guys, major congrats for scoring these interviews recently. I think it’s a testament to Jason’s approach to interviews and Jimmy’s super easy going nature—not to mention your long standing commitment to the community and connections with so many people. You guys are the real deal. So…when is GL coming on? :)

I think you nailed it. There’s another one about Hope that felt too on the nose with “A New Hope” but I’m probably the only one who thought that.

Matt Rooney, great voicemail and awesome meeting you at ICC Con. I don’t have Vice so can’t watch the series but it seems like some of the prequel criticism might be sour grapes. I don’t truly understand why Marcia was so upset George sold Lucasfilm. He is going to die someday so clearly he couldn’t own it forever. Awesome interview with Gary. Andrea heard me listening this morning and asked me if he had dropped any F bombs. He likes the “colorful metaphors” based on our Fan X experience. I’m surprised he didn’t mention that Krennic was a character he created and I thought was a great bad guy. Also, he didn’t talk about the Last Starfighter sequel he was working on. This was part of his discussion at Fan X and I was excited to see it get filmed / released. Going to have to figure out what happened to it. Thanks guys!

Wow thank you. Gary was so honest and a class act. Incredible

I actually like the Icons: Unleashed series better than the ILM series, it was very well done. One thing that blew me away in the ILM series was part 6, where they needed a rig for the trailer shot of the Razor Crest model for the original Mandalorian teaser. John Knoll just stepped in like he was model building after school and machined a whole fancy rig for the flyby practical shot, incredible. He must have an amazing engineering mind.

I think this was one of my favorite Yoda questionnaires ever. It was so insightful and you can see how in tune he is w SW. I friggin loved his last answer - this feels like Star wars. Such a great interview!
