I'm gonna have to wait to watch this. :( I didn"t renew D+ after the price hike. And I will not take another yearly sub. Only monthly from now on. So I will wait until my present monthly Amazon sub is ended. Or maybe until january to synch up better with coming series. D+ needs to realize that just streaming is not enough. I still can't even buy Mando season 1 blurays, or Resistance any season. I want to own my Star Wars. Not just Rent it.

I enjoyed it. But something really didn’t sit well with me. Feels like it’s actively excluding a younger audience from watching. Which I think is a failure in itself. We’ve always had adult themes in Star Wars, but the lense has always been something palatable for children.

Great show as always guys and thanks for taking my call even though it triggered some callers after me lol. I’m iffy if I’ll stick with the show week by week but I’ll continue to rely on rfr to keep me up to date on what’s going on.

NGL I immediately thought of my parents. “Triggered” is a bit ironic since that’s how they react when things cross a certain content threshold, although this threshold will change depending on how good the movie or show is. Andor completely has that perfect action movie sizzle for me. But some folks may not love it and that’s ok.

I just finished watching the first three episodes of Andor. Wow!!! I loved it. Andor used Kyle Katarn’s blaster from Dark Forces. They had Caf from the old EU! I loved seeing a different version of the Clone Troop Transport. Corporate Security seems to be like the old Corporate Sector from the way back EU (Han Solo novels). Was that a Dave Filoni cameo at the 20:38 mark in the third episode? Sure looked like him. I only had two complaints 1) Sh** doesn’t belong in Star Wars and 2) No OT aliens. Would’ve like to see one or two. I loved this show and can’t wait for next week.

Thanks. That's very kind. But I'm kind of pro IP and really want to support content creators. But on the same time I want to demonstrate to Disney that they can't keep me hoistage to yearly subs when I only want to watch Star Wars. What I really want though is to buy physical copies of the series and films. I want to be able to watch in whenever I want. perpetually!

That's kind of sad. That Disney splits content in chilidish stuff like Resistance and FOD with little depth for adults, and then makes the series to dark and violent for kids to watch. Damn, I even begin to think a lot of series are to grim to watch for myself as an adult.

I am digging the andor after show theme song J Mac!! Can't wait to listen finally to the aftershow. Saw all three episodes yesterday and they were amazing. Also, does this prove LF should stop hiring people who "love" Star Wars to make Star Wars? Tony Gilroy seems to really not care about it and consistently makes really good Star Wars.

I always appreciate Jimmy and Jason's (mostly) radio friendly standards on the show. Use/overuse of foul language has its place: Tarantino films, Kevin Smith films, stand-up comedy, etc. Often it is just lazy writing/speaking. Thanks for continuing with the high quality shows!!

Liking Andor so far. Has a real ‘filmed in the U.K.’ feel, which matches Rogue One.
