ANDOR is under review by RFR V.I.P. Joe Dallas who gives us his take on the first four episodes and discusses his initial hesitance about the new, gritty STAR WARS series from Tony Gilroy. Key West resident Joe talks about his experience with Hurricane Ian and we look back at the jazz CD by Joe and his father Joe Dallas Sr. about a decade ago. We test Joe's knowledge of himself with Joe Dallas Trivia and Joe shows off some of his bass guitar collection. Speaking of collecting, Joe has the complete run of STAR WARS INSIDER Magazines but he's looking for something particular. Perhaps RFR listeners can help!

Go, Joe!

Eric from Phoenix

Can’t wait to listen o my flight home Friday. Curious to see if I can help Joe complete his Insider collection.

Brian Robinson

I have a good run of Star Wars Insiders back to the Bantha Tracks days, but I gave up on the new publisher a few years ago. They were getting way too expensive.

Adam Taylor

Always great with Joe! Would love to hear a bit more about what doesn’t feel Star Wars/right about Andor for you? (Been asking this on Facebook too) Regarding reshoots of Ep 1, you can tell when Obi Wan says to Qui Gon “the negotiations were short” at the start.

Tanner Keyfauver

I am always a fan of Joe! You seem like such a great, incredibly nice guy. If you're ever in the Denver area, drinks are on me!

Amazing show jimmy! I love when Joe gets on these !! I actually work at the Las Vegas strip at Sammy Hangar’s bar “Cabo Wabo cantina”. I would love to him a round next time you come back to Vegas! Music is a big part of my family’s life, my 7 year son Ryker plays the violin 🎻 and sings ! Your stories have influenced me to continue to support my son’s passion. Jimmy and Jason are always welcome too would love to make you guys some death stick shooters !!

Yeah it’s been around since 2009! Our menu is much better then one in San Lucas apart from the fresh seafood they provide!! There’s a really cool bar here called “ Millennium fandom bar “ which you guys would really dig !

Joe Dallas

Bliss! I finally finished the Q&A and just found the sweet track at the end. Can’t wait to let it all play out.

Greg from New Jersey

Loved the episode and loved the track at the end. Always good to hear from a fellow teacher as well!

Dylan McGee

That song to close the show was awesome! Joe Dallas and his father are amazing musicians!

Greg from New Jersey

High school social studies, and my wife and I also run the after school theater program, so we love arts education. Keep inspiring those musicians!

Dave Heino

A most excellent way to end the episode! Thank you for sharing.

Eric from Phoenix

Great discussion as always guys. I quit watching The Walking Dead after Negan kills Glen. I’ve never liked gross or scary but would have my wife tell me when it was safe to watch :). The human element was so good but I just couldn’t take it after Glen. I loved the old Battlestar Galactica show and they are available for free on the Tubi app. Loved the Joe Dallas trivia that Joe had to do. Hilarious and fun! Joe, I would love to get that cd, email incoming :)
