Had to stop the pod and comment because you’re spot on man, as a prequel kid, who was 6, 9, and 12 as the trilogy came out, watching Anakin fall to the dark side felt like losing my hero. Definitely my first taste of seeing how someone destined to be great could turn out bad.

The reason for Boba's to change from being a bounty hunter to a Daimyo in the show is this. Because of a life changing experience. Surviving the Sarlacc will change anybody pov for their life. Stop working for a boss, be the boss.

Very thoughtful conversation between Mike and Jimmy! It helped me to realize that the Andor series has a great sense of scale--Cassian helps trigger the grand battle between Empire and Rebellion while inspiring Maarva, his foster Mom, to rebel against the Empire. Great insights about Star Wars cringe: It reminded me that all of us should remember to have fun when watching it! And also it reminded me of a phrase GL used in a Starlog interview many decades ago to describe the mood he aimed to capture in both Star Wars and American Graffiti: "effervescent giddiness."

Great conversation! Like many here I can look by stuff that doesn't land and enjoy the overall. That being said I have one point.... breaking bad is nowhere near the Wire ;) haha good stuff! Also who wins in a fight Mon Mothma or Mom Marva

Great conversation guys. Loved hearing everyone’s viewpoints on the latest Star Wars. I will speak for us guys in our 30’s who grew up with Anakin as to why he was and still is relatable personally. Not only getting his angst but his fear of losing what he had with Padme to this day is something that hits me so hard. Lucas was such a genius with his writing the prequels.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I knew I was going out on a limb talking about areas that I thought were cringe worthy. I forgot to mention the biggest one for me was finding out Luke and Leia were brother and sister!!! Yikes!! Just really appreciate that this community allows an old OT guy like me a safe place to criticize and praise. You are awesome RFR!! Thank you!!!

We mentioned very few actual examples, but we all have a list. Let's compile some personal cringy SW moments for next time.
