Content

Christmas is here early as we are joined In The Cantina by Ashley Eckstein for a lengthy, in-depth conversation about everything Ahsoka including TALES OF THE JEDI, the upcoming AHSOKA series, meeting Rosario Dawson, THE CLONE WARS and more. Also under the tree: Star Wars in Pop Culture featuring "Rick and Morty" and Carrie Fisher in a goofy Hallmark Christmas rom-com. Plus, listener feedback and more!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, JMac and crew. Stay warm, and MTFBWY!

Matt Rashid

Most of us were checking out mentally for the holidays this week- not RFR. Of course, you interviewed Ashley. You guys are amazing. Thank you for all you give us.

There is no team ahsoka There is only one ahsoka for us and that’s Ashley Ekstein Amazing episode Second best one after the one in the summer with brian von Weiss (May be spelling it wrong) the chap who did the amazing icons unearthed.

Maddie G

It’s always a treat when Ashley is on. She’s just such a wonderful person and I hope I get the chance to meet her one day!

David Glading

Fantastic way to end the year, love Ashley and RFR!

Jeff Holland

What a great episode! Ashley is the best! Maybe JMac needs to extract all the previous Ashley RFR interviews like he’s done with “The Filoni Files” and start “The Ashley Interviews”.

Brian Robinson

Awesome episode, Ashley is so great. Am I the only one who pictured The Goofy Gophers from Looney Tunes when Nick (England) and Rav (Ukraine) were giving their critiques of Andor, and Obi-Wan with the use of The Volume? lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o8zQBF8NmI

I am so excited Jimmy is going to be watching Rick and Morty, and Jason is amazing for owning his love of Holiday RomComs. F’n A boi-yos! Happy Holidays!

Hunter Chambers

It sounds like Jason was watching The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, which is unashamedly one of my very favorite Christmas movies. Henry Winkler is a gem. Another great interview! Loved hearing Ashley talk about meeting Hayden and Ewan at Celebration.

Andrew

Great talk with Ashley. She is definitely an amazing ambassador for the fans.

This is my first post.on this forum in somewhere around 7 months, I think. Man, I have missed RFR! Most of this year has been really, really tough. To the point that I've had to back away from a lot more than I thought I ever would in order to put my mind in a much needed fresh perspective. I hadn't watched anything Star Wars related since Kenobi finished, so I missed all of Andor as it aired. Only recently did I finally take some time to watch. And I've missed every episode of anything RFR related since May. Life has been tough. But I finally got a better perspective and have taken the time to catch up a little on RFR! Gonna try to listen to some key aftershows and Q&A's, especially. And I hope to start the New Year by returning to our long running Q&A episodes between Jimmy and myself! It'll be I think our 11th episode. Been too long, Jimmy! I'm sorry for the long radio silence. I've missed so much.... But I can't wait to get back into the swing of things! Gonna check out Tales of the Jedi soon, especially since it has a lot of episodes focusing on my favorite SW character, Qui-gon, and Dooku. Thank you so much to the RFR boys and all the great people here for keeping the fire burning so hot all year. I'm sad I've missed so much, but I'm happy it's all there to catch up on. God bless everyone going into this new year. May it be a better year! Talk to you all again soon. :)
