Bolder Boulder

A couple of points regarding the show and SW animation: 1- What’s with Dr. Hemlock’s gloved hand? Nearly every time he shows up on screen, he’s rubbing that hand. (Even in the picture that the Bad Batch sees of him, he’s rubbing the gloved hand) Is it cybernetic? Did he perhaps experiment on himself? I’m assuming we will have that detail revealed in the upcoming episodes. 2- Also, I’ve been re-watching Rebels in anticipation of the Ahsoka show. (If someone hasn’t watched Rebels yet, it’s certainly worth experiencing) In doing so, there was one interesting interaction I saw in Season 2 Ep 13 at 10:25, I heard a very familiar voice coming from an Imperial officer speaking Fenn Rau, a Mandalorian. I replayed the brief sequence numerous times, trying to think of who’s voice it was. It eventually came to me, though. Check it out for yourselves! Thanks, RFR for another fun after-show, and take care, fellow Star Wars fans!

Whenever Blake starts off with, “Alright”. You know you’re about to be hit with some serious insight.

Anyone find a link between “Tipping Point” and S5 E5 of TCW “Tipping Points”?

Bolder Boulder

Hmm, maybe the link might be the theme of liberation? In CW, the rebels on Onderon were fighting for their system’s freedom, and in BB, Echo, Rex, etc. are fighting to free their clone brothers.

Admiral Constantine from Rebels uses Techs voice too - It would be amusing to make a play on this in the bad batch, an imperial ‘recognising’ the voice and asking if that’s Constantine.

That kaminoan scientist, the female one, she’s the only one to refer to Crosshair by his name, and seemed to know there was no escape. I wonder if she had a connection to Kamino/the clones and she’s a prisoner too.

Rebel Force Radio

That thought crossed my mind too. She was stuck there just like all the prisoners. Not sure if that makes her a prisoner, but something is up. She cannot leave that place. Wednesday is 2 days away!

I'm only 24 minutes into this episode so far (I'm a straggler these days!) and have rarely gotten any opportunity to listen to any Bad Batch aftershows, sadly. So I don't know what everyone's thinking on the show these days. That being said, I have a couple ideas I wanted drop before seeing the newest episode tonight. 1. The female scientist is Pershing's mom. 2. The experiments on the clones in Mount Tantiss may have to do with the original purpose of that mountain in the original Thrawn books. Remember that the insane clone C'baoth used to live there and wS worshipped by the villagers, or something like that. What if the experiments have to do with creating Jedi clones? It would be an incredible nod to the old EU! They brought back Mount Tantiss. Why be that specific with a name and tie it to clones and experiments if not to use it all for its original purpose? It would be really, really weird not to!

Sean W. from Warsaw

True...BUT what if the idea isn't so much to make Jedi clones for the sake of Jedi clones, but rather to make clones strong enough in the Force for the Emperor to inhabit with his spirit? We know this is what he eventually tried to do from the Rise of Skywalker novelization. What if, in their experiments to make these kinds of clones, they end up making weird abominations they can't control too well and end up with someone like, oh, C'baoth? It'd be a really interesting way to blend the new continuity in with the old, for sure.
