Can’t wait to listen. A puffa pig mention? I’m assuming Boba Fett is going to show up during the retaking of Mandalore. And I still see this all culminating in a big screen movie, maybe Star Wars: The Mandalorian Wars or something. Does anyone else get Jim Carreys the Grinch vibes from the other named pirate? (The one besides the green spinach captain).

Wow, this episode of Mando really got me hyped! The bit about Gideon being sprung by Mandalorians is intriguing. My wife and I were discussing how he had the darksaber for some time. In that time, many Mandos could have sworn loyalty to him, much like when they did with Maul before. This would complicate things quite a bit for Bo Katan, going into the galaxy to unite them and all. It's an exciting prospect to think of such a showdown on the horizon!

I'm also really loving the quasi religious vibes I'm getting from the Armorer's words about Bo "walking in both worlds." The tone and the imagery of such a description is evocative of a messianic figure, somehow. Reminds me a bit of Dune and the Mah'di or something.

I think the Mandalorians as a people are already so fragmented in their loyalties that it's basically gonna take something truly miraculous like a legend come to life (ala a mythosaur) to unite them all again. Without that, I don't think it's possible. Even the Armorer says something about how the mythosaur is the one common symbol amongst all of them, acceptable for any to wear upon their armor. It seems like the darksaber won't have the same kind of leverage or power in the face of something like that. This will be interesting to see how it plays out if some see Mando with the darksaber while Bo is supported by the ultimate Mandalorian symbol instead.

It was good to listen to this aftershow and what happened, because I don’t think I took it in nearly as much as previous weeks after watching the bad batch finale. Cobb Vanth was going to be in Rangers, wasn’t he (or have I made that up)? I wonder if he will come to Nevarro and be the Marshall. Either him or Boba and Fennec. As for there being no stakes in the Mando vs pirate fight, I thought this was good! Mandalorians are meant to be the best warriors in the galaxy. They spend all day practicing their craft - a bunch of drunk pirates should be a walk in the park!

Great show. Happy one caller mentioned Steve Blum. I just met him a few weeks ago at a con in Orlando and got a autograph. Talked to him for a while and we talked about working with Filoni during that conversation. Really hope zeb is gonna be in Ahsoka.

This episode was great, just caught episode 22 Din is just a side character in this show now. Very disappointing episode.
