That's a wrap for Season 3, but is that it for the drama surrounding Moff Gideon, the Darksaber, the fate of Mandalore, and Grogu's parentage? How come whenever the praetorian guards walk in they looked like they were about to drop the sickest beat/rap battle.

The last two episodes are like a mini movie and paid off handsomely. Season 4 is now open for new adventures, maybe setup by Ahsoka or another show.

I've just watched the season finale. While I enjoyed this and the previous episode, I was disappointed with the season overall and I don't really know how they can go forward from (are they going to go forward from here??) The Moff Gideon reveal should have been situated far earlier in the season at the expense of some of peripheral side stories (episode 6 anyone???) I think there should have been more weight given to Dr. Pershing's story arc and indeed, what the hell happened to Dr. Pershing after all that. This season was a significant step down in quality from the previous two seasons. It felt flat footed. There was no real tension and the resolution of the major plot-lines that have carried over right from season one was a muddled mess in amongst everything else that was going on. I'm not sure the re-taking of Mandalore story arc really served as the backdrop for the Gideon/Clones arc. At times I felt it was over blown and confused. The music was terrible. The dialogue was sub-standard - even for Star Wars and there was no sense of real peril for the central characters. The Mandalorian was reduced to a secondary character at times for Bo-Katan's mess of a story. And the Dark Saber!!! We've been teased about this friggin' Dark Saber for years! Years!! And Bo Katan can't even look after the thing for five bloody minutes before she loses and it gets stomped on!! SERIOUSLY??? Again, what is the future for the show? A Magnum P.I. slash The A-Team slash BJ McKay & His Best Friend Bear week to week episodic series?? My Lord, Lucasfilm need to take a good, long hard look in the mirror. This episode 6/10 The series 4/10
