I’ll be interested in seeing his return It should be fun to see him causing some real havoc for the new Republic

Thrawn was so much better in the books than in Rebels. I hope they make him more like in the books and less like in Rebels. He was a tactical genius but completely blind to interpersonal politics.

Seriously, give us a warning before we listen to this. Laughing so hard, I almost drove off the road! You guys are awesome!

Here's my question: How many times do we see his predictions actually pay off with high stakes in Rebels...? Does anyone know? I'm really curious. Lol I'd be really interested to see how that compares to the same thing in the original Thrawn trilogy. I know he says that line or something like it from time to time, but I remember it raised the stakes because you actually get to see our heroes fall into traps he sets up for them based on how he observes their performance in those old books. But I honestly struggle remembering such payoffs in the Rebels show.... Anyone know how often that line payed off in Rebels and if it actually did raise the stakes at all...?

Oh yes, totally agree. When I read the original books, I was always thinking the heroes were up against space Shirlock Holmes or something! I was always thinking, "Man, how are they supposed to outsmart this guy?!" Always three steps ahead of them, and it always showed.

I could feel Swank’s discomfort when Mac says “banging your mom”. Good stuff.
