We're once again pairing beer with STAR WARS! This time, we have six craft beers that RFR V.I.P. Peter Beisser has personally selected and will pair with each of the STAR WARS Sequel films, ROGUE ONE, SOLO, and THE CLONE WARS. Will each beer go down smoothly? Or will some of them leave a bitter aftertaste? Put on your drinking shoes because it's time for Beer with Beisser!

Nice way to celebrate the memorial day weekend

Jared Cantor

Awesome timing. Love this concept. How about extend it by pairing a beer with each episode of the Clone Wars? A few years worth of podcasts would result!

Maddie G

I really enjoy this series and I don’t even drink beer! Peter has done a phenomenal job with these pairings and I look forward to hearing part three (or more) with pairings with the tv shows (maybe per season?).

Eric from Phoenix

Okay, only got to the Clone Wars pairs with a sour while I was grilling. Brilliant Peter!!!

Al Andrew

So we get Flying Fish here in Australia … gonna have to try this 😂

Eric from Phoenix

Okay, just noticed Yoda is holding a beer. Nice work out of Jimmy and the graphics guy (who’s name I can’t remember). Chris? Fantastic!

Joel Lackey

I really enjoy this series and listening to Jimmy’s opinions when he’s 4 beers deep…laugh out loud funny.

Mike James

One of my favourite eps yet! Love my craft beer and IPAs and combined with star wars is just awesome. Great follow up on the 1st episode. Looking forward to a part 3 now! Bring on the star wars beer! Cheers guys! 🍻

Devin Rio

I got a double dose of this today as I listened to both eps feat Peter Beisser. And all I can say is WOW. Amazing content here guys. What an awesome idea Peter! The beers were especially perfect for clone wars and the Disney era films. Love it!

Matthew Dillingham

Sounded like I wouldn’t have cared for too many of those beers this time around but it was a fun time listening! I’m currently enjoying the beast unleashed, a hard monster(a what?😨) they’re 6% and taste exactly like a regular green monster! There is a peach flavor that is damn good as well

Brian Robinson

Great episode, but I wonder now what beer Jimmy could pair with Star Wars: Resistance?

Jeff Holland

I have been waiting a long time for this moment my little green friend. Actually I’ve been waiting since Part I! 😂 at the rate I’m going (I’m several Q&As behind) I’ll eventually listen to this one. Can’t wait!

Todd Stewart

Just as good as the first beer pairing episode. I really wish we could order those choices so we could play (drink) along. Peter, could you find a local distributor we could order from?

Todd Stewart

PBR or Milwaukee's Best. A beer that purports, with it's name, to be solid but is actually very weak.

Peter Beisser

Appreciate the kind words, all! Had a lot of fun with this one. Because some of the breweries near me have major distribution and others don't, I know it may be hard to play at home. And not quite sure how you could order online. But I'd definitely recommend finding a beer local to you that fits the same category for each. Thanks again!

Cracking episode.. Love it all. Love the progression along the way of openness. I’m a big advocate that beer is a liberator of truth. And many emotions we all feel for this podcast we’re released after a few beers. Ditto my son and I haven’t missed an episode (not since 2007 but since 2020 when we found it) it’s the best podcast by a country mile. Glad you’re coming to london if you need any tips when here let me know and or if you need someone to proof read your ai pub crawl. Not sure how long you’re here for but try to get up to Scotland if you can and then you can sample some proper single malts and do a single malt pairing. As ever cracking pod. I’m not a fan of craft beer just regular old fashioned English bitters and Scottish whisky but keep these novel ideas coming.

Greg from New Jersey

Phenomenal episode, gents! Definitely one of my all-time favorite Q&As; clever concept and great conversation. My mailing address growing up was Somerdale, NJ, so it was nice to hear a shout out to Flying Fish! And Jimmy, I don’t know that I’d ever heard you explain it before, but you’re description of your discomfort with Han’s death in TFA is exactly what I’ve felt since I saw it opening night. Any excitement I had and appreciation for how a good a film it was was immediately muted by watching one of my heroes get impaled by his son, so it’s a not a movie I care to revisit much. I appreciated you sharing that! Definitely hoping for another edition!

Bjorn

Another fun episode! Also thank you Jimmy for saying what's been on my mind for a while Lawrence Kasdan is overrated!! Now ESB is my fave Star Wars film but I dislike when people overstate his role in the success of the OT and thank god GL didn't listen to him when it came to the ending for Return of the Jedi!! Anyway a great listen while I'm slaving away at my thesis!

Eric from Phoenix

Freaking brilliant Peter!! I had so much fun listening to the conversation and how well the beers paired with the movies. One of my biggest issues with the Force Awakens was the fact Han left his family. Seemed totally out of character for him after he came back to save his friends in A New Hope. I hated that plot point. The IPA reaction for Last Jedi was awesome!! I agree with Jimmy on a bar. If I find one I like, I’m not leaving. In fact, I’ve never done a pub crawl. With that said, pub crawling with Peter and his wife would be a blast! Hope you have another one of these left in you Peter.

ANDREW KNUDSON

Great Q&A Peter! I laughed out loud when the last jedi pairing came up. I believe the comment from Jimmy was "it's ass in a can". I was working while listening and hankering for a beer. Looking forward to the streaming series pairings! Myfbwy

Peter and Jimmy, I too, am a huge comic guy. (Have a comic horror story) so I switched to digital. Cause you guys were wondering about the Marvel unlimited, I pay 86.00 a year and they release new stuff each Monday. And the comics are 3 months behind retail release. There's a library of like 50k comics and although it's behind I don't mind. As there is plenty of comics to catch up on. Cheers to the topic too. Love beer... loved this too

Alexander Gates

Another awesome episode! Peter, are you on Untappd? Any other RFR Patreons on Untappd? Cheers!

Ben P. Stein

I'm *just* getting around to listening to this one and I was excited to hear a mention of the Dogfish Namaste wheat beer. There is a Dogfish Alehouse across the street from where I work, in Maryland, and I've enjoyed that beer!

Jared Cantor

Just listening to this episode, which I was saving until life settled down for me. So far it's great. Wish I still had a taste for beer! I've been to Media, and I've eaten at that Iron Hill (circa 2007 I believe).

Jeff Holland

Finally listened to this almost 3 hour epic Q&A! Well done! Peter - spot on pairing for TLJ and TROS. JMac’s burp at the end sounded exactly like the animal outside Jabba’s palace in ROTJ. Ha!
