About 5 weeks behind still, but slowly catching up. Can't wait to listen to this episode in particular.

Oh, I just wanted to point out the last 2 vip episodes are missing the episode # in the title. It was an easy way to watch the amazing progress towards 200 vip shows....

Great show Mike! There seems to be a consensus with the ‘Mount Rushmore’ episodes for at least the first three, because they were mine as well. The fourth was the hardest. Mine was probably Mando S2 ep 1 because it was just so much fun. As for the ‘physical’ aspect of the world between worlds, I think the moment they enter they cease to exist in a physical form, and one with the force, and then when they leave it re-manifests them physically back where they were. If I don’t think about it this way then I start spiraling over it and attempting to work it out. Could we get a Mount Rushmore of novels? That could be fun.

Great show I love the Mount Rushmore choices. Well done!BTW, Anakin pulled Ahsoka into the world between worlds—my theory

I always enjoy the conversations between the two of you, including your discussion on this episode about the original Thrawn novels and comic books. I am one who liked the ysalamiri very much. I thought they added an interesting challenge to Luke (and Mara Jade) when fighting against Thrawn. Filoni has actually talked about why he didn’t include the ysalamiri in Rebels (except of course as the cool decorative wall art behind Thrawn): https://youtu.be/HBVhBsN1H7Q?t=43m20s In the clip above, Filoni said he and GL had previously discussed that they thought the ysalamiri were “implausible” creatures because they are living. Since the force flows through all living things, they couldn’t see how there would be creatures who negate the force. (But as a former physics major, I had always imagined the ysalamiri being somewhat analogous to electrical conductors, in which electricity flows on the surface instead of the interior. If the Force flowed on the front surface of the ysalamiri, they could thereby shield Thrawn.) I think it’s still possible they could emerge in live-action Ahsoka. I think they could provide a cool twist in some of the confrontations between Thrawn and light-side Force users.

Ben, I'm only 30 minutes in the podcast and I'm riveted with the discussion so far, and I still get novels and comics discussion in this episode to look forward to???!👍👍👍

Wow, been out of it for a little while and everyone gets dilusions of grandeur. My daughter was just born the other day! Just starting to check messages, emails, all that again when I saw another Mike Aragon episode as one of the first things in my email list. Can't go wrong there! It may be a little bit before I get to listen to this one, so I wanted to just hop on for a hot sec while I could and say hi. :) Sounds like it'll be a fun episode!

Thanks everyone! To Jimmy: No sir! This is our second. :) Our first was born not long after you and I started doing Q&A's nearly three years ago. Lol How time flies!

For myself, even in spite of how new Ahsoka is, it's really hard to pick between Ep 5 and Mando 2 finale as number 1. REAL hard. I'll have to think for a while about the rest. Lol

Ben, I agree with your thoughts and I loved the ysalamiri in the books. Your explanation as to why they could still work is awesome!!! I never thought of it that way.

Great discussion guys! I thought you had really interesting thoughts on how the nightmothers revived Palps. Great thoughts! In the original Thrawn books they made a big deal about how the Wookie's had retractable claws that would allow them to climb the trees on Kashyyk. I always like that little detail that helped explain how they were able to live up in the trees. The Mt. Rushmore list was spot on except for the last one. I would add the 1st episode of Mando season one. To me, this is one of the best Star Wars episodes ever made.
