We've been having discussions about STAR WARS via podcasting going all the way back to 2006. Before that, Jimmy Mac participated in Star Wars media coverage going back to the mid-90s. Suds is doing a relisten of RFR going back to the beginning, and he shares some interesting tidbits from shows of the past. Suds also brings conversation about Star Wars in Chicago radio, The STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL, Sith stuff, and more.

I will definitely listen to this one. Im curious what Suds has to say, especially since I've been here since the start. Jimmy is still "the new guy" jk lol. Shirtless palpatine, anyone?

Brian Frith

Amazing content. Love these Q&A shows. The regular drops are impressive and most welcome. Thanks RFR

Jared Cantor

Brilliant idea! Can't wait for the nuggets

Are there commentaries on TCW episodes? If so, how can I listen? Last year I did a total binge of everything star wars on Disney + and listened to most of the RFR after shows. It was great!

Todd “Suds” Sedlacek

The RFR Spotify feed has CW Declassified but only the late season 5 ones. Anything prior to that would be the old Force Cast show.

Rebel Force Radio

I would suggest listening back to Clone Wars: Declassified. Almost every episode can be found here on Patreon with RFR Clone Warrior access. Any episode you cannot find here can be found on our website, www.rebelforceradio.com

I actually started doing this with my own personal archive of shows all the way back in 2008. It's a lot of fun, and very bittersweet. Despite all the content we've gotten, Star Wars and Star Wars fandom was just so much more fun before the Disney acquisition.

Great job once again Suds. I was caught off guard hearing about our trivia shenanigans. Lol. I did not stay to watch the whole holiday special. Maybe next year. Thanks for bringing us all together Jimmy and Jason through the force, Rebel Force Radio.

Fun discussion guys! Man I would hate to see “The Ranch” go away but would totally get it from an expense perspective. Great catch on the Huyang discussion from back in 2013. Swank’s voice sounds quite a bit different. Stogies might have had something to do with that :) I never heard the David Prowse story before and it would’ve been awesome to be part of that conversation.

Really enjoyed this episode. Felt I started listening at a similar time at the start of the uk lock down. The first Star Wars pod we listened to. Would love to find out what was the first episode we listened to as we instantly got hooked. What are the listener numbers roughly per week. It was mentioned that one of the bad batch after shows had a 10 or 20 multiple would be interesting to know. Cheers for the episode great fun.

Turtle Wars

Another very enjoyable episode of Q&A Suds. Pre-Disney was some great times. From celebration, to collecting, to content, to general accessibility to everything, I definitely miss those times. But I’m also glad we’re getting tons of new SW all the time now. That sounds like it was a great one of a kind Prowse encounter Jimmy.

I can tell this is gonna be a great nostalgia dive! Looking forward to listening when I can!

I’m excited for the Ventress cameo too! I think she’s going to be part of a flashback with Commander Wolffe. Great discussion!

Maddie G

Great conversation! I’m hoping that we get some story in the Acolyte about Palps master - that leading into a show about palps that’s dark would be interesting! As for Ventress, I’m leaning towards not a flashback - they haven’t utilised flashbacks in previous seasons when they could have (where was our cadet bad batch scene?), but if it was, my thoughts go in the direction of Quinlan Vos - he helps the path/save Jedi as established in Kenobi and it seems Hunter, once omega is retrieved, may be on the same path. Will be interesting to see!

I enjoyed this discussion. Suds, Nice concept for a Q&A. I loved your recollections of earlier RFR. Great stuff!

Brian Walters

Been catching up on Q and A’s this week. Great discussion and some behind the scenes talk. Interesting look back.

Brad Riverdahl

Really great Q&A!! Hit on a lot of shared memories on this one.
