Mount Rushmore was created to honor four US presidents who had a profound effect on the development and growth of the USA. But what if we replaced the presidents heads with our four favorite moments in the history of STAR WARS animation? RFR V.I.P. Mike Aragon returns to the Q&A to continue his "Star Wars Mount Rushmore" series. First we did "The Mount Rushmore of Star Wars Films", followed by "The Mount Rushmore of Star Wars Streaming Series". Now, the third part of the trilogy is here: "The Mount Rushmore of Star Wars Animation" featuring our picks of the best of the best based on personal preference and impact on the saga on a whole.

Not really surprising not much has leaked out about the Acolyte - Leslye Headland has probably had a lot of practice keeping her mouth shut 🤐 There was a set photo of Dean-Charles Chapman in Jedi robes. People have been thinking he might be a young Palpatine.

Great selections by both of you! IMO, “Shattered” contains one of the best moments in all of Star Wars, when Ahsoka faints after she feels the presence of Darth Vader through the Force.

My Mount Rushmore of Star Wars Animation is Gendys series. Filoni’s series revolves around Ahsoka. There’s nothing wrong with that I’m just not that interested in the character. Gendys series was closer to Anime and way more violent.

A ton of fun to chat with Jimmy about our favorite and most important animation episodes/arcs. Thanks for all the positive feedback on the Mount Rushmore theme - it's been a blast!

Great show guys, sad to know the Mount Rushmore trilogy saga has come to an end. Mike, how you described Jimmy as a conduit for the voice of the fan was spot on! Thank-you to ALL the RFR VIP’s who’ve made the month of Feb a cracker for Q&A episodes. MTFBWY.

I enjoyed listening to both of your different takes and opinions about the same episodes/arcs. Great discussion again guys! Gendy TCW is awesome! It was difficult only getting short clips as they dropped 20+ years ago but works really well watching them all together. I enjoyed the more super hero-type powers they displayed and the upscaled violence. I’ve been to Mt. Rushmore, it’s not much to look at. The surrounding Black Hill Forest, Badlands National Park, and the School of Mines Geology Museum are the really cool things to see around there. And then not far from there, over the border in Wyoming, is Devils Tower, that was featured in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

There was also a Vader comic where a girl who worked on Vaders Star Destroyer had an obsession and crush to Lord Vader & by the end of the comic gets choked to death.

Luke

Great show guys!

Didn’t she walk around collecting remnants of his skin or something gross like that?

She collects souvenirs of him various shrapnel from his suit and a blood sample.

Great discussion once again!

Another great discussion! I felt like I needed a timeline too, Mike. I needed something to help remind me of where are in Star Wars history. The Gendy series was awesome and I think the second season was longer. More like 30 minutes each. We did Mt. Rushmore, badlands, Wall Drug and Yellowstone when we lived in Castle Rock,CO. Awesome road trip and Wyoming is a beautiful state. I highly recommend doing it! You have a ton more Mt. Rushmore discussions. Good guys, bad guys, weapons, space ships, land ships, aliens, creatures, technology, costume, music, sounds, scenes, planets, etc.
