Hey guys!

Here is the 0.7.3 Beta of House Party.  I just want to give a big shout out to my new team who is now working very efficiently to keep these builds coming.  We are scheduling the next Alpha version in just a couple weeks!

This build is feeling much improved to us, which means we can focus next sprint on new content!

CHANGES:

Updated Vickie Model

Fixed an issue where you couldn't take the Thermos from Frank in Kat's story

Fixed crouching issue

Fixed a bunch of typos

Command Console Improvements

Fixed a bug where the player could re-dress while in the hot tub

Fixed a saving issue with the Kettle

Fixed an issue where you could start a new sexual act before you were rested completely

Added a "Load Game" option to the main menu

Fixed a bug where the player could deform while sitting by crouching or moving back

Fixed an issue where Ashley's Clothes stay in your inventory after you give them back

Fixed an issue where mounted items weren't saving correctly

Improved "line of sight" mechanics

Fixed an exploit where you could gain infinite affection from Madison

Reworked reactions to nudity so they don't trigger as often

This release will come along with the custom story creator update?

I should have the story creator ready sometime next week. In the meantime, play around with the new Command Console by pressing ~ and you can give real-time commands to the characters.

Man, you are really doing a great job with this game. The quests are all challenging and clever, and the gameplay keeps getting better. Way to go, Eek!

The sex animations are bugged(idk if is the right way to write, sorry), the version 0.7.2 was fine, but in the 0.7.3 the problem came back. But the game still awesome, good work with the new studio!!

Game looks a better with this version. I am playing on a laptop, with low settings, and I can see the overall look improvement. I do however feel that the long wait for new public version was really long and we got very little story-wise. I hope this changes with 0.8.x because it felt like a bit of a downer to me that Vickie is a super cool character that only gives us "wife material" lines and blue balls. On the side note, I noticed a bug with body when loading a game saved while crouching. Body looks like it remains crouched after I stand up. Workaround for this was funny: pull out the dick, start/stop wanking and crouch/stand. For some reason this reset the body into normal position afterwards. So, keep up the good work and hope to see more story content from you guys.

Game play is getting smoother, although characters seem to pile into areas at the same time. Also I got stuck in the exterior back wall coming out of the Stephanie face plant. Had to load a save and redo half the game. I agree about Vicky too, she needs a solo quest and she should also be a launching platform for each girl. Maybe add a little girls talking dirty lines as they’re getting hotter. Also maybe a step by step instruction on the custom story creator. Can’t seem to get mine going and have some ideas.

Can't get a photo. When I click to take a photo, the sight disappears. If you try again, the camera simply does not respond to clicking on the mouse buttons.

Patrick still has his wine even though I collected it... can't progress further with the Rachael story.

I can't get to Vickie because the quest with Patrick to get his wine is bugged. I've gotten like 3 bottles of merlot so far and Patrick isn't accepting the coffee because he has wine still... I still occasionally see the bottle hovering a couple feet in front of him even though I have 3 bottles in my inventory... Any fix for this?

When completing the Rachael storyline, she tells me to meet her in the bedroom, but does nothing once we get there. The room was empty, I closed and locked the door, pressed "P" but still she just stood there. Is this a bug? (if so, should I report this elsewhere?)

Pretty funny how you removed the blackmail sex from the game, but then you add in how the male protagonist has sex for 50 bucks - prostitution is somehow okay but not blackmail - both are equally illegal and degrading.

One doesn't have anything to do with the other. We moved the blowjob interaction to the other quest to balance the events. There was no endgame event for helping Madison, so we moved the bj to the end of that quest, and we removed it from the blackmail quest. As much as people have been reading into what we're doing internally, most of the changes we make to the story are to increase continuity and expand the gameplay. Giving the player full access to Madison after blackmailing her doesn't facilitate this as it doesn't give you any reason to make other choices or do other quests. In terms of illegal and degrading, we fully agree that both are on par, and are we completely ok with it because this is a game.
