House Party Beta .1.1 (Patreon)

Hey guys!  As promised, here's what I have so far with the new Beta.  I am posting it exclusively for my $10.00+ Patrons.  This build has a LOT of upgrades, but not necessarily many updates.  What I mean by that, is there's not a whole lot of new storyline, but I changed the way a lot of the mechanics work in the game.  I'm hoping you guys can give it a whirl and let me know if you run into any issues while I work on more storyline for the next release.  I think the new system is very solid and makes a lot more sense.  Here are the changes to look out for:

Revamped LookAt Scripts.  Characters now more aware of surroundings.

Added relationship status bars.

Added a cool new frame to the dialogue avatars to go with the bar.

Adjusted dialogues so after you choose an option it goes away (unless it is needed more).

Adjusted breast Physics (Fixed some bugs).

Added to Brittney's storyline

Added to Ashley's storyline

Added to Katherine's storyline

Added to Rachael's storyline

Added more interactive items.

Added a "Give" option to Non Player Characters

Added a "Use With..."  option to Interactive Items.

Added a bunch of humorous quips when you try to use things or give things away.

Gave Patrick a wine bottle.  This can now be removed from him in multiple ways.

Adjusted sound so it is in 3D.  (If you walk away from objects, their sound volume will change).

Added real-time shadows.

Added a new "Give" command for Non Player Characters.

Added a new "Use With..." command for interactive item and inventory items.

Adjusted UI to scale with different resolutions.

You can now click and drag passed out/dead characters by their limbs.

There's a bit more storyline, but not much.  Once you get the three girls into the bathroom, that's the end of what's written so far.  Enjoy!

Im not sure if its a bug or im just stupid. The shelf in the garage cant be tipped. Any solutions?

Hmm. Yeah that's a new bug. Nice find. I will see if I can get an update out soon to correct it.

same here try to push the shelf

the shelf felt off but didn'h hit franck . I try to hit push and then Franck was "dead". Then I got stuck behind the shelf and press push and GAME OVEr :D lol

also the start over button in the menu, completely bugged the game; You cannot talk to people and take items. You have to restart the game

It seems the code that's driving the ability to drag the passed out/dead bodies around is interfering with the shelf. I'll have it sorted out soon and I will post an update. In the meantime you should be able to get around it using daniel's method, by repeatedly clicking push on the shelf.

i've managed to do it by pushing the shelf then putting Franck behind the shelf and clicked push when he was behind it; Also it would be nicer if Franck could be a little bit further from the main character; Because it you have to hit excuse me a lot, to allow Franck behind hit.

another bug, when you give booze to ashley, if you are wrong the booze disapear (Merlot for Ashley btw)

is the update completed when you have 3 girls in the bathrooms ready to play the strip game ? Or I've missed something. I cannot talk / do action to any of the 3 girls after this :). Nice update with the GUI, bar progression etc Very Nice

Cannot commence the strip game. Having problems locking on the girls in the bathroom for talk. Rachel doesn't respond back. Madison doesn't give a response when being asked to join

I think this might be related to the click and drag issue as well. It was the last thing I added in this build. I will investigate more. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you. Yes, once you get all three girls in the bathroom, the storyline doesn't have any more content beyond that, so it might just be that they have nothing left to say since it isn't written yet. This update was mostly about interface/UI, so I'm glad all of that is working well.

i did experience this as well. You might sometime be in front of them to enable the ui menu action.
