Hey guys,

Here's the final build in the 0.5.x series.  Thanks to all of you who sent in crash reports for helping to get to the cause of the issues that popped up with upgrading the Unity version.

For Mac users who are still experiencing black textures, I've submitted a bug report to Unity, and hopefully we'll see a resolve for that soon as well.

But other than that issue, this build seems pretty solid, and I think I am ready to move on to getting the Custom Story Creator together and working on 0.6.0.

Note, a really cool new feature in this version is that there is an optional nudity censor for those of you interested in streaming on Twitch, YouTube, or any others of the like.   Here is the change log for this version.

General Bug Fixes

Fixed a bunch of story typos and misspellings

Added an optional nudity censor for YouTube and Twitch broadcasts

Fixed a bug where pressing escape when the radial menu was up would cause the radial menu to not come up anymore

Is it possible to play the saved games from 0.5.6 in this version? Or because it is in a different folder you can't?

The phone is not needed for any of the quest lines. It will be re-added in a future update.

2026-09-05 14:00 The frame rate is just awful, i run GTX 1080 TI With memory clock at 2300MHZ / 32GB ram / i7 6700k and i get 10-47fps.

Play around with the resolution and the quality settings (before you start the game). You should be able to find one that works well with your system.

Hi, thanks a lot for so great game and especially Linux port! While I enjoy great graphics and gameplay I have a set of problems preventing game to be completable.

A problems I talk about are - Katherine sees through walls people around, so it is not possible to persuade her to strip and take photo; Franc sees booze through walls and comes for me even if I pick up booze on second floor while he is on first. Also, it is not possible to complete safe puzzle, as it is not possible to use pencil on combination of other 2 required objects. Is it possible to fix these? I know Linux community is small, but you will make some people very happy if you look into these problems.

The game seems to run best in windowed mode on Linux (at least that's what I'm told). I will be putting together a Linux test machine soon so I can test out the builds myself.

I got a problem that bothers me, almost everytime im near the fireplace the game crashes for no reasons (its not about graphics, i got a pretty heavy pc)

I downloaded this there were no people in the game and I couldn't interact with anything so it was just me walking around an empty house

I get that situation when my firewall blocks the game from connecting the servers and downloading the story files. Try to temporarily disable your FW or create a ruloe that paermits the connection.

I've got black textures on all furniture, some walls and all doors and all the characters' hair is freaking out (glitching so that we can see their head). I'm using the OSX version.

I have the mac version and its missing many features. I am in the beta tester and all of those funny features like pulling out your junk is not there? Am I missing something here?

You should have those features. Did you go through the tutotial or press F1 for instructions?

Yes I did and I see no prompts and when finishing ashley's quest it doesn't show anything but here sitting on the ground and not doing anything.

now it is working! Thank you very much! The only problem now is the hair is clipping on and off on the models. I can see their scalps and the walls are black so I cannot see some of the items I was trying to find. Other than that It works!

Yes, that's a known Unity bug with OSX. I have been jumping on their patches in hopes it will be resolved soon.

It's been temporarily removed since it currently doesn't have a use. It's going to be added back in later on
