Iret wasn't always a roboguro-seeking gremlin. Discussion in the discord led to some backstory that still tickles me every time I talk about it. Iret used to be an actuary for a heavy industrial firm - a lower-end social android doing banal clerical work. However, she discovered a taste for destructive play which became a problem when insurance adjusters realized her maintenance policy had unlimited coverage. Normally a nonissue for career pencil-pushers, endless free repairs became expensive in the hands of someone who routinely got totaled on purpose.

Iret was ultimately reassigned to unskilled labor on a remote trashteroid where cheaper, more durable parts could be justified to stem the financial bleeding. But that's another story...
