I didn't really think this was a good idea. I figured the numbers would spike, then recede. I figured a lot of stuff enormously, gloriously wrong. There isn't a lot I can say, because sometimes the metrics just have me speechless. I've been at this kind of work for a long time now, but only ever as a hobby, a side project occasionally poked at. And I still struggle to finish works, I still update irregularly, but nonetheless I'm producing more consistently than I ever was before. The difference now? Before when I fell on hard times in my mind or wallet so too would I fall behind in my work. But you, my valued fans now keep me financially buoyant enough that I have an edge on time and peace of mind. I don't need to wear myself raw with jobs I dislike when I really need some self care or to just move my stylus. And beyond solvency and sanity, you've given me empirical data that my work is valued, that I am valued. And that is something my negativity and sadness have a very difficult time dealing with when they try to bring me low.  I have a number struck upon the internet that tallies people that have pooled together their resources to say "Alex Steacy is a cool guy and we like what he does". It's all there, refusing to be ignored or denied. You humble me with your investments. Truly. I live a very small yet very real dream out here on the island, earning a living doing what I desire the way I wish. You have my gratitude, and the promise of more and better to come, made possible with your help.Thank you.

You've kept me entertained for hours on end. You were cool as part of LRR, and you kept me laughing. Then to find out you too love Dark Souls and bring the joy to others as well as being an overall cool guy. I'm happy to contribute and wish you the best of luck doing what you do.
