2020 Patreon changes! (Patreon)

Fans! Patrons! Lend me your ears. It has been an incredible year and you have been very good to me. And in the coming year, I'd like to return that favor a little more with some changes I think you will enjoy. To that end, starting this January of 2020:

—Purifier Posts!

Early pages for patrons will continue, and there will also be patron-only behind the scenes posts with concepts and musings.

—Themes!

Every month will have a theme, voted on by patrons the previous month. Patrons will receive a digital wallpaper based on the theme, and there will be public posts with extra doodles and sketches based on the theme. Themes will start in January, so expect a poll before New Year’s!

—Commissions!

Monthly summary posts of the commissions I’ve worked on (with permission from clients). Patrons will also get priority in the commission queue.

—Streams!

I want to get back to a regular home streaming schedule. The specifics are still being worked out, but the plan includes:

Purifier — streaming inking and toning comic pages. Weekly, probably Thursday afternoon/evenings.

Sketch Requests — streaming live drawing of suggestions from the chat (usually gets quite silly). Ideally once a month, on a weekend, announced in advance.

Commissions — occasional stream working on commissioned illustrations.

Project Streams — occasional streams of whatever personal projects i’m working on, things like model kids or manufacturing.

AMA — short stream, hanging out with chat, and answering questions solicited previously from patrons.

—Patron Tiers

I’m going to implement a 3-tier system: keeping the $2, and adding $5 and $10 tiers.

*$2* Every patron is deeply appreciated, and I couldn’t do this without you. All patrons will get access to all art that is posted. This includes the Purifier early pages and behind the scenes work, the assorted drawing related to the monthly theme, commission drawings, and whatever else I feel like posting.

*$5* In addition to everything at the $2 level, this tier will also receive a digital wallpaper based on the month’s theme, and will be able to vote in polls, for the month themes and for input on future projects.

*$10* In addition to everything at the $5 level, this tier will also receive access to the digital archive of the high resolution versions of my art!

That’s some of the stuff coming, and there are additional things in the works. But I also want to know what you would like to see! What do I already do that you’d like to see more of? What don’t I do that you think I should? Leave comments below!
