Greetings dear friends!

New game preparing progress

A little about the script. As I wrote to you a month ago, I also continue to write this huge script. And it seems to me that I have swung at a task that is too difficult for me. But I will do it! After all, you still support me and this very motivates me to continue this work for you!

So, this month I will try to complete all the necessary events. But there will still be some, small, number of events that are located far along the storyline and develop will not reach them soon. Therefore, I decided to postpone writing them all the same in order to quickly start production of the game.

Also this month I hope to be able to start making 3D models of locations for the game. To start developing a game, I need to make 5 locations. I will redo 2 locations, since they already exist, but quite a few changes need to be made to these locations. And 3 more locations need to be done completely. By the way, I remember that I wrote about this in the last post, but in fact the reason why I did not do it is the same. It takes all my strength to write a script. But this month I have a little more time, for some reason.

A little more about worry. I want to start developing a game right away in maximum quality. I want to make pictures and animations in FullHD quality. But unfortunately, the hardware that I have now does not allow me to do this. If I can make pictures in this quality, then I cannot do animations in FullHD quality. Rendering one frame of animation in FullHD quality takes about 30 minutes, so two seconds of animation will take more than a day. And this is too long for the amount of animations I am planning in the game.

And the problem is not that I have no money, I have it, thanks to your help. The problem is the prohibitive price of video cards due to the current crisis. For example, in my country, GeForce 3060 costs $ 950-1500, if the normal price for this video card should be $ 400. And I need at least 4 such video cards. And again, the problem is not even in the specific cost, but in the fact that these video cards are not worth the money sellers are now asking for it. And this confuses me quite a lot, what to do with it. I haven't decided yet.

Of course, I can make pictures and animations in HD quality. But this will have a bad effect on the perception of the game by the players. Since screens with a resolution higher than FullHD occupy a rather large percentage of the gamers, then pictures in low resolution will look very bad on such screens. They will just be blurry, and the animations will look like blurry squares. I don't like this. Therefore, I will need to think about what to do in this situation.

Sorry for dumping so many of my worries on you, but this is what developing the game is all about. And I want you to know this. Sorry again.
