The adults aren’t that different. Intensive indoctrination was necessary, but now they behave much better. They follow orders—no matter how humiliating they are. Something feels off this time of year. Too much activity outside. The captured soldiers and cops especially can sense it: this is the perfect time to be transferred. The weather’s against them, and surviving on their own would be nearly impossible, even if they somehow escaped the suits that keep them restrained.
