Good evening my dears! I hope you're doing alright tonight! Dropping off a handful of sketches here but needed to talk about something.

Yesterday I began to experience numbness and tingling in my pinky and ring fingers. Understanding what this is, it's cubital tunnel syndrome. With my hand burning on the upper and lower wrists, the trigger finger, and now this, I have no choice but to yield to more resting. This is going to heavily impact my upload rate.

While I can do sketches, digital art will be impossible to accomplish due to how I have to rest my arm and that works can range from 3-8 hours. And I am sorry that my work is going to be so much slower while I hop between resting the arm and doing cubital exercises. I needed to be transparent here as I've hit wall and I don't want to leave you all wondering why my rate went down.

The last thing I ever want anyone here to feel is that they're being taken advantage of. That being said, I understand if anyone cancels their pledges at this time. While I am always dearly grateful, so dearly grateful for your support, I never want you to feel that you're not getting your money's worth.

Well, that's about enough out of me. Thank you for reading this, dears. Bless you.

It will be okay Shane. Rest yourself. We can always talk in the server about some possible solutions to help out. Maybe if your writing projects are easier on your joints than drawings while you heal up or something. I'm sure among everyone in the server can come up with something.

Please take care of yourself.

While I can’t speak for everyone, I know most of us support you because you’ve touched our lives in a meaningful way. Take time to heal, okay?

Melodiahound

I have been subscribed to other people who upload only once a year, so I honestly don't mind if you take a break. Take the time you need to heal and recuperate your spirit. We'll be waiting here for you.

As someone who used to draw all the time, I cannot imagine the frustration that might be experienced by an injury such as this, interfering with your work, life, and joy as an artist. It sounds serious and the best thing you can do with any injury is just listen to your body. I know it hurts just as much to step away from your work but the priority here should be seeing you make some recovery Shane. We're not here to see you suffer, we want you at your best.

Here's to a speedy recovery friend. Hope your hand heals sooner rather than later.
