I know you're experienced at it by now, but holy heck, it has to be said again that you know how to make dialogue raw and real. Nick's parents prioritizing a guest room over a room for their kid, and still not having his own room as an adult? Goddamn. And Gelga's inner narrative about the way her mom treated her hurt too. Fortunately you also have good timing with a comedic break, heh. Having lived alone for a while now, you definitely get into patterns that could be problematic with new roommates, like not looking to see if the bathroom light's on!

Yeah, holy shit... I was a bit taken aback by that bit about never having his own room. At least I had THAT growing up. People have a hard time believing why people put up with abuse, however severe... not realizing that's "normal" to the abused. And yeah, there's that opening we knew would come... I like how you keep us guessing as to when it is. Some people HATE context and plot in their erotica... I would not be one of those.
