Good morning my dears~ I hope you are doing alright today! It has been a busy time as of late. A rather stressful time. There are things I still haven't talked about that's been going on in my life.

One of them is that my step father for the last couple of years has shown signs of alzheimer's. Its been progressing to where he can forget a lot of whats been said even a few minutes ago. Its been tearing my mom apart. I know its been hurting him too.

So I've been trying to spend more time with my mom. Take her places, run more errands for her, and try to help through the grieving period. Trying to sit with my step father and just try to help him during this time where he feels the most lost and alone. Its been rather difficult, and I've been struggling to keep my foot up, adjusting more to all this you know?

I'm doing my best to take the time to look after my own mental health. That's why I've been sketching late the last few days. A lot going on each day in ways I can't anticipate. This morning I just woke up and felt....terrible.

So I sat down to work on some music and did an edit of a few songs put together by Knapsack. The original can be found here https://soundcloud.com/unsignedmusicz/good-morning-sunshine

You can checkout and download the mp3 down below if you want.

Its been a little since I worked on a digital piece, and I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for letting us know where you’ve been. We understand this must be a stressful time for you. You can always take a break from Patreon and work on yourself if you need to. If you need help with something you know you can send a message.

Know that the words and work you put out are appreciated. No matter how big or small. When we are faced with situations like this, that are neighter dependent nor caused by us, they tend to make us feel powerless, because we cannot steer them directly. From what you have written, you are doing whatever you can to atleast ease the pressure and pain of the situation. I want you to know that what you are doing is good, valuable and more than a lot of people would do in a similar situation. Don't beat yourself up because you can't fix a situation far outside of anyones power to fix. I know that that is much easier said than done. But know and remember, that you are giving it your all and are doing the best that you can do with the knowledge and skills that you have. I hope that with time, things get easier on both you and your parents. As always, if you need a break to catch your breath don't hesitate to do so. I'm sure most/all of us would understand. You've got this!

Had a great grandmother pass away due to Alzheimer's. Even when my mom and grandma saw her for the last time in the home, she was smiling and while she wasn't all there, she knew it was us. Don't beat yourself up about keeping a schedule and meeting deadlines. Live your life if you have to and know that we got you.
