Good evening my dears! I hope you're doing alright tonight!

I wanted to take a small couple of days to work with a couple pages of Ghost Weed. Though I don't have plans currently for making it a full project, I did want to at the very least work on the sketches I shared for the start.

I remember this one, looks good! I hope your wrist is doing better.

Bless and no it's not doing any better. :( I'll hopefully have the wrist massager device by the 4'th.

This may be a sign that “You have a kind face” will return before Elden Ring 3 comes out

If you listen closely, you can hear my heart break riiiight....now! Guess I'll go to bed with that. ;v;

You took it to imply that ghost weed is not what I desire, or that what you make right now is not what I desire, or that I am unhappy or getting impatient. Well I’m not. I respect you immensely mr Shane and I respect your art, but I respect your health and feelings more and I know all of your characters ( no matter how many years have past since their first debut on paper) forever live and frolic in your mind, their stories still alive. I know people talking about unfinished work makes you feel dejected and guilty. I meant no harm, I love your work. I simply stated one of my desires. I want you to make art at the pace you and your wrists are most comfortable with.

Aye, the tone of words can be entirely lost over the internet often. I'm used to being pressured and pushed and so I often times lose sight of the idea of respect and instead often see the pressure to perform. That's kind of internalized at this point as I can seldom even stay settled or relax without feeling like I'm doing something wrong. I feel I said it best in Heart's Trappings "Make it stop, this burden, this guilt. I'll never be punished enough." I know it's my responsibility and place to have a healthier mindset. Thanks for helping me better understand.

You are a great man. A great artist. It’s normal and human to have doubt, to feel inadequate, I won’t tell you to shake off these feelings, because it’s something very few people can do. But, you can still be proud of what you’ve accomplished. Look back at an earlier drawing you posted, the one where many of your iconic characters celebrate and wish each other a Merry Christmas. Look at it and realise that for many many people those characters feel alive, for many people, those characters are their first answer should they be asked “who is a greatly written character” or “show me a well executed romance”. Whenever you feel like you haven’t done enough or that you are beyond flawed, look back at those characters and realise how much you’ve accomplished and how great you are( maybe not in your own eyes, but in the eyes of the many people who admire you, who follow your work)

I hope you do as well. I've had my share of hand injuries back in the day, they always suck.
