Good afternoon my dears. I hope you're doing alright today!

Earlier this afternoon the tablet arrived. My computer isn't playing nice with it, and there are some quirks to work with as I get used to using it! For those not aware, I've always used mouse and keyboard for my vector art by making and bending lines.

While my program may not be good with free form line work, it still works great with achieving my style while taking a lot of repetitive stress off my wrist and fingers.

Thank you again everyone for your support while I try to better my current issues.

What exactly is the issue and what programs are you using? Give us the info and I'm sure someone can help you figure it all out.

Krita could be a good option for free-form lines, but maybe try Inkscape for vector stuff? It may be easier to use for some things

Macromedia Flash 4. One of the reasons I've stuck with it so long is its quick and straightforward interface when it comes to that line bending. I've tried throughout the years with other programs that make quite a fuss about it. While I prefer this method for my comics, I will be testing singular pieces or sketches with black ink.

It's finally time to nag you to use clip studio paint then, i see... Just drawing with the stabilizer on a bit would probably give you the visuals you want in less time, and less inputs. regardless, Something to consider is a rubber grip for the pen to fatten it up, so you don't have to pinch so much on the pen. but if you're immediately feeling some relief that's a great sign. They make them for wacom and apple pencil, but you could definitely find a suitable grip for regular pens if it came to it i imagine.

Looks good, I'm glad it's helping with stress around your hand and wrist!
