I’m not sure if this song is actually gonna be on the album, but this MV is supposed to serve as an album visual for RUBY…which scares me because this video is absolutely stunning to look at. Jennie is really surprising me with the choices she’s making with her solo career, SO experimental and out there and not at all what i was expecting from her! THE LOOKS! THE BOOTS!

i think you are right about it being similar to Lit by EXO's Lay , the funny thing is i was thinking about it the same time as you 😮😆HAHAHA, and the nature elements too surprised me i really liked that, also the Owl was what drugged me in i really love mysterious concepts with Owl's. PS : 🤭it's like she gathered EXO's powers and started to control them all saying this is how it's done BOYS 😂🤣 HAHAHA (it's just a joke please don't come for me HAHAHA, i don't even know if you will find it funny or not, but i'm just saying and messing around, and by the way my ult group is EXO, just so you know 😉❤️)

jennie talks about how ZEN is a really important song/theme in her album & in her life. n B/c ZEN is more experimental & not as radio-friendly, Jennie didn't release it as a pre-release single on streaming platforms initially but only available w/its music video, i think hearing the song for the first time along w/the visuals really enhances the song & makes a big difference. I've noticed that reactors to RUBY who only hear ZEN w/o having seen the video usually don't really enjoy the song as much
