Flat peaches are also called donut peaches. My mom prefers them, but I don't really see a difference.

yes, it's a typo when they say V isn't there. Jin arrived at fishing just a little late - hardly noticeable, except that he wasn't in the car with them when they arrived. If you listen to Jimin's actual words, he says "Jin-hyung" in the sentence that they translate as "V isn't here" - not sure why it's been 4 years and they can' fix a subtitle lol My favourite part of the episode is definitely Namjoon catching the craps - he immediately just becomes an excited kid when crabs are around and it's both adorable and bewildering to me.

Flat peaches are literally peaches that look like someone sat on them, lol. They are weirdly squished down and more donut shaped than peach shaped. They are supposedly sweeter than regular peaches.

I've seen them in the store where I live in Ohio and they are called doughnut peaches, so you are right on about the shape. I haven't tried them, they are ridiculously expensive.
