I'm so glad Rose's papa arrived to save him... but the words "It's mine!" cut deep. The fact that Rose seems oblivious that his moth daddy is not saying something protective about Rose, but rather using 'It' (either dehumanising Rose or showing that he only cares about Rose's hair) hurts all the more.
