*Sigh* .... I do not know how to feel about it, I suppose happy for Atlas, my little mermaid deserves more than that asshole King, honestly. I hope it is true that he is going to shake off the cobwebs of what he was and that he can find his identity and his heart is filled with honesty. Whether or not with Esme or with whomever he decides he will be, but let him be honest.

I feel like like re-reading part 2. The king was more venting his frustration after Atlas dipped out on them with no notice, they thought he had killed himself. So I would allow a nasty and careless comment or two. But you can tell he didn't mean it really with his reaction in part 3.

I feel like Atlas could have written a better note when he left. "I'm sorry I need to face my fears and close a previous chapter of my life first." He made it sound like he was being chased or something from what I recall. But still happy they seem to be getting along.

This is such a wonderful resolution! I'm so glad Atlas managed to get closure, so he could move on with his life. ❤️ Atlas really needed to explain the situation to dear Esme face-to-face, or even just word his letter much better, so he wouldn't end up so heartbroken. I really hope Esme manages to end up happy. ❤️
