The class above me in school did Hunchback of Notre Dame as a play, and they got an Actual Goat to play Djali!! The younger kids lost their minds! 😱🐐

Kind of feel like these pets play into each of our Fairybends boys roles or attitudes. XD Like how Elliot knows a lot of 'tricks' (Skills.) and would 'bite' someone hostile to his friends. Snow is like the talking raven, a magical being but there's lot of death related tragedy following him. Rose ran away from his Fairy Daddy and just generally doesn't get on with most people..... Esme like Djali is just reliable. V:

I know this is supposed to be cute......but it's also very sad how Rose and Snow didn't get to have animal companions that stayed/lived.

Love the reference to the book's Djali! And its adorable but sad tha their first friends were animals... Not to mention that some of them died or ran away.
