I have a theory that their maybe rejected hybrids out in the frontier or failed experiments that are making trouble. Could also be defective hives or wild uncontrolled breeders who lost contact with the queen land are in a conflict with each other. Like their trying to build a new hive but can’t do to not having structure or purpose, and with the genetic bonds from the new breeder program, makes it impossible to find hosts or create a new queen . :)
