My rendition of a personal favorite character who I have admired since the PSX era. Hope you like it!

Also, this is my first time drawing her :D

Love the smug ass grin XD

Jazzyman

Best Dragoon Character!

With PS1 graphics it took me a while to figure out what she was supposed to be as well as her gender. Always thought it was a shame the game kinda forgot to tell the rest of her story after the Clayra portion.

What is it with female armor in RPG's? The less armor they wear the more effective they become to use. Its either the best armor is designed for the beach, or most male characters lose all of their senses when looking at it. Either way she looks great. Glad to see she has a reasonable chest, some of your more well known characters would tax the kingdoms metal supply, especially Lady Auren or Lady Xpray. Saying that I know the alternatives will have bigger assets available with some different "armor" options too. Can't wait to see them, great work.

Sorry, my mistake. Usually that would be a fair assessment of the armor. Have to go back and look at the game again.

Fen Longpaw

More is always welcome of Freya

Nolife05

The clothes really look like they have weight to them :) great detail as well ^^ ps I have an idea I would like to pm you if it’s ok ^^

Amazing work. I was really hoping she’d get into smash honestly. I hope you will color this one in at some point.

Shrapnull

She has a lovely smile :) usually people draw her looking stoic. I'm liking how you've drawn the costume as well, it's got some weight to it! To my eyes it looks like there's something potentially going on with the far finger on her left hand; like the joints swollen or something. It's certainly not a deal breaker though!

Oo She's looking pretty great in your style. Admittedly I haven't played much of Final Fantasy but they often have fantastic character design.

I love RPG style games where you can choose your characters abilities. Until you reach a boss where you have to start grinding for more XP. And then I become Depresso

I'd love to color this picture someday :) And who knows! Part of me doubts Freya ends up appearing in Smash since she's not a popular character (specially in comparison with Cloud or Sephiroth), but I'd like to keep my fingers crossed for her appearance in a current or future FF Dissidia game.

Glad you like her! I'd LOVE to draw Freya again in the future, if possible. And thank you! You're right, I think her finger looks kind of weird, now that you say that. I'll try to fix that detail in the inked/colored version :D

Thank you, Sebastian! I completely agree, FF games' have such amazingly designed and charismatic characters (although they lost a bit of that "magic" in FFXIII and FFXV, at least imo).

Grinding for more XP is part of the fun! Specially when that unlocks new/more abilities to play with, which feels rewarding :D
